13Dec20: ice…

Andy sees me drinking ice water and he wants some ice!

Silly cat! It’s empty. Besides I gave you ice. It’s on the lapboard.

Andy expects ice to show up by magic.

I guess there is a little bit in there, but there’s still a big piece on the lapboard. Andy will have his ice!

    • Probably was. LOL! Silly cat. I had a sample of a single malt Scotch this afternoon that Andy thought he wanted to sample, too. I let him smell it – he licked his lips! – but, of course, reminded him scotch isn’t for kitties.

    • Yeah, better taste by far, but it inevitably would have to end up on some surface outside the glass for my Persian-faced kitty to get to it!

  1. Great row of photos of Andy’s behavior . You are an expert of cat’s psychology, Doug.
I worry to know there are a big bit of ice on your lapboard . I hope it will not be flooded like mine ( with a glass of beer !!!!) 🙂

    • I’ve had mishaps like that, Michel. The worst one was a plate of pancakes with butter and lots of syrup that ended up on the carpet. I had to draw on a whole lot of words I learned in the US Army to express what i felt at that moment. LOL! I made sure the ice on the lapboard got mopped up before it became a problem.

  2. I am very pleased with this series of photos because of that very reason! One or my more successful captures of Andy’s sweet personality! I’m not always so lucky.

    • I was really pleased with these photos for the way the captured his “I am really interested in this ice” looks! Thanks for commenting on that. I hope to please you and other subscribers this way, so appreciate confirmation I got the job done – thanks to Andy!

  3. Just love him. Remind me of:

A wonderful fact to reflect upon, that every human creature is constituted to be that profound secret and mystery to every other.
