I’d like to think that, too. Dick was really good with kids and animals. He was a sweet, gentle spirit and I miss him a lot.
Those old videos are spectacularly well produced, Doug. Of course it helps to have two adorable stars darting to and fro, I would imagine it is bittersweet for you to watch both your late brother and the little precious Dougy, but at least you have ‘captured’ both of them in a great collection of videos.
Exactly, dolly. I get great comfort seeing these old videos, and plan to work through them till I run out. You are right about the stars of the videos! It’s been a great joy to have both, though poor Dougy had such a short span with Andy and me.
Poor little precious Dougy! He is missed. Yet you did have the pleasure of having him around for almost 10 years, if I am correct.
Yes, I did have him for a bit over nine years, and he was a joy.
Not to detract from Andy, who is also a joy, I am sure, but together they were a double joy.
They were, Dolly! The interactions between the kitty boys were a big part of the fun.

Yes, it is fun watching the kitty boys go crazy chasing the toy! Dick had a touch with cats and dogs. Andy and Dougy remembered my brother from year to year and really, really, really liked it when he came to visit! (So did I! We were very different in many ways, but we enjoyed each other’s company. I miss Dick a lot.)
