Andy likes to watch television with Doug.
…
Just not the news.
Time for a snooze till Doug watches something more interesting for kitties!

Smart kitty. The news isn’t good for his blood pressure.
For sure!
So cute Andy.
We agree with Andy. Most News is boring or depressing anyway.
I feel obligated as a citizen to be as best informed as possible through as many media sources as possible.
Andy is a smart kitty, Doug. 🙂
There’s more to life than Greenies, “mousies”, and string videos on YouTube!
It does not surprise me that a cat would have strong preferences in TV programs, just as they do in foods, lounging spots, etc.
I find his choices oddd sometimes…
Andy is wise to avoid the so-called news. I stopped watching that stuff years ago, Doug. And, thank you for your kind words, Doug, I didn’t know that I’ve been following you since 2016!
I feel news from as many media as possible is helpful when I vote. I’ve voted in every election I’ve been eligible to vote in. Andy, despite rumors of voter fraud, is neither registered to vote or guilty of voting illegally. Besides, were he eligible, I have no doubt a handful of Greenies would get his vote!
Oh my gosh, I will vote for Andy! ❤️❤️❤️
I made his campaign poster years ago. “Andrew James Thomas ! He will chase the rats out of Washington” it say, with a tight close-up of “the candidate”. I will try to find the jpeg of it.
That sounds good!
I hope you enjoy it on the 27th’s post. I forgot it featured the baby Andy, eight weeks old.
He was and is so cute! ❤️
Yeah! I keep remember how his favorite toy was a tiny toy “mousie” that he’d carry around in his mouth to keep away from Dougy. Too cute!
Dougy’s passing was a shock to me too, Doug. 😫
He was only nine years old.
I don’t remember why he died but that’s too young, Doug. 😭
I never got an answer from his veterinarian.
Really? Perhaps you should inquire about this. 😭
John, I have. I signed paperwork requesting a postmortem. When I asked his veterinarian what he found, I got a blank stare. I suspect his staff failed to pass the paperwork on to him. Dougy was cremated – I have the sad, little container of his remains! – making a postmortem “problematic”! My concern at the time was it might have been something that Andy could catch, necessitating keeping a watch on him for symptoms. Andy’s still ok, so my concern was unnecessary. I’m still not happy about this failure to answer my question why an apparently healthy cat died suddenly.
i see. How maddening. I suppose the next step would be hiring an attorney.
It is done. I don’t need to take it that far.
I didn’t think you would, Doug.
we hate the news too… the mama says swearwords to da news guy and we bark like crazy….
Andy shows me it’s not worth getting upset – eat some Greenies and all’s well in the world!
It is fun that he likes watching
It is fun to see what amuses a cat! I’d love to be Dr. Dolittle and have a conversation with Andy about these images moving on the screen.
