30May24: Flying Joy…

Andy wants me to open the door so he can enjoy the morning birds.

Door open and the walker positioned for optimum bird watching!

Andy wastes no time!

Kitty “television” at its best!!!

Oddly, the walker model name that’s embroidered in large letters on the backrest is “Flying Joy“. In this instance, as a kitty boy viewing post, the walker name speaks to what birds are to Andy! Andy happily will watch birds from this post for as long as birds come around. With luck, he might even see an occasional squirrel, but the cottontail rabbits are out only at night.

The heritage yellow climbing rose bush will be in full bloom shortly. I look forward to this joyous event each year!

  1. Andy loves his vantage point from the walker!

That climbing yellow rose is gorgeous, Doug. If that one is just outside your door, you are very blessed to see that every day. Do you ever get birds nesting in it?

  2. Beautiful blooms, Doug! I’m sure Andy would say thanks for putting his viewing platform in place if he could. Happy Thursday, guys. 😊

    • I think he would thank me! He often rests on the floor by the door so he can hop on the walker when he hears birds.

  3. Beautiful roses and how nice they smell too. Andy doesn’t want to miss birds… It is same in my home too. The first thing I opened all balcony doors (but you know we closed the balcony) they all take place for watching birds… Dear Doug, I can’t imagine if there weren’t glass windows, what would be… Do they fly behind the birds… I am afraid my cats can do this… Thank you, Love, nia

    • Andy climbs the screen to get to the birds sometimes, so it is believable that you’d have to enclose your balcony so your kitties can enjoy birds!

The rose bush does have lovely scented blossoms!
