The problem of Andy hiding and successfully avoiding medication is being handled by letting him have access to the bedrooms some of the day, but making sure the doors are closed close to when his medicine is due. Compromise.

Terrific photo on the mug – great gift.
I am glad the new med intake strategy is working out.
Me, too, though it required a huge change in our days.
Is this change too trying for you?
Sounds like a good compromise. The mug is adorable!
Thanks! It turned out well, and one has been delivered to Holly.
Merry Christmas!
The mug is a wonderful gift for Holly.
I think she will enjoy it! It’s a pleasing photo of a. Young woman holding a cat like she really is happy to do it! Andy even behaved well for her.
She will love that new mug, Doug! Hey, that rhymes.
I think so, too!
That is a beautiful new mug, Doug! Holly will like that, too.
All the best with the new medication routine. Whatever works!
I like it for myself as well, having har two made.
I know there still will be missed medicine times until I get the off-limits times worked out, but any improvement that strengthens his body will be great.
I enjoyed a nice mug of coffee with my mug. I had an extra made for me.
I just saw on Herman’s blog that Jimi had to be euthanized. He had been battling some kind of illness for the last 6 months.
Oh no!
I am afraid so.
You do whatever works! Let’s hope he doesn’t catch on to the “closed door” clue. My old cat Hazel would hide UNDER the bed so I couldn’t let her in a bedroom when she needed meds.
Yes, the under the bed tactic is Andy’s classic move. Dang cat! I sure Andy will work out the closed door tactic, so I need to vary it so he doesn’t pick up on a time or routine about it. The bed in my bedroom is especially helpful for cat medicine avoidance, so I close it as soon I get up.
You got to stay one step ahead of them.
He just walked into the south bedroom at 9:28, about half an hour before medicine time. This may be a terrible day for the human! That door will be closed earlier in future.
Doug Thomas
Oops!
She will love that. Well done
It turned out nicer than I could hope! I had one made for me, too.
What a brilliant mug!
I am happy with how it turned out!
That is so totally 😎 cool!
It’s fun and great filled with coffee for a happy morning start!
