This exhausting week hasn’t been good for my social life.
Wednesdsy napping cost me a chance to enjoy a Greek specialties party at a local barbecue place, and Friday, I conked out about a half hour before my class of 1966 monthly luncheon. It was enchilada day, too!
I’ve officially declared that from after my next Monday appointment with my pulmonologist in Scottsbluff till my 16th of June appointment with my cardiologist is “No Damn Appointments Time!!!”

Of course. I need a haircut, so I can handle that one in this period. It’s the out of town ones that wear me down.

That dialysis routine sounds totally exhausting
It is!
Andy’s first photo, you were spot on with his expression, Doug!
It is a new favorite of mine!

Shot of the day, methinks!
Naps are good for you, and do take time. It’s smart not having too many appointments.
I look forward to not making any new ones for the next seven weeks. I need to be adamant about that!

Spreading out appointments and events and pacing life is wise, no matter what one’s age.
It is especially important for me since the days between dialysis treatments aren’t free days to continue doing everything I can, but recovery days since that procedure does mess up you body in subtle ways, lied wiping out white and red blood cells!

I hate when I miss fun things because I’m exhausted. I’m with you. No more appointments for a while.
Two things in one week that I would have enjoyed is too much!

I hope you are less tired today. I was only telling Jackie yesterday about you monthly lunches
Less tired, but I learned yesterday a part needed for a recall on my car that wasn’t there when I made the five hour round trip the Rapid City now is in, so I have to make that grueling trip again as soon as I can. I’ll try to do it next Friday.
Yes, I was sad I missed my monthly luncheon this time because of crashing in a nap.

Hello Andy.
Good morning.😊
Nice to have you comment! Good morning to you, too!
Doug Thomas
We too have reached the point where we just have to slow down on the appointments and pace them carefully. Too much goin’ and doin’ is just too much!
Amen, Leah!
Forgot to note it was Doug Thomas answering!
