29Apr25: “Where’s that guy who feeds me?”

Andy was concerned.
(Nebraska 26 intersection with US 385. North to Alliance turn left!)
(US 385, headed north to Alliance from Scottsbluff.)
(Approaching the west end of Alliance.)
(Bottom of the  10th Street overpass, headed east! Almost home.)
(Yeah! Yeah!  Dang 10th and Box Butte stop signals.)
(6th and Flack, where the village sign suggests it is a quiet, happy place.)
(Sixth Street, with Lane 2 moments away on the right.)
(Lane 2! Can’t wait to see Andy!)
(No more yellow rose bush. I refuse to do anything outside to improve the flower beds by the apartment. Yard Nazis just follow orders, and I suspect the bush was a hassle to the yard moving crew. Tragic!)
(I’ve had this yard art since the 1990s. Amazingly, the yard Nazis leave it alone.)
(Just about parked, careen right and slap the handicap tag on my mirror!)
Yes, Andy greeted me at the door.
“FEED  ME!”

=(^+^)=

I had an appointment with my pulmonologist yesterday. It was a pleasant drive to and from Scottsbluff.

Dr. Patel was pleased with improvement in a significant WG/GPA marker in my blood. It indicates I am solidly in remission of that disease. My lungs are in great shape. I will have another visit with him in October.

    • It’s always a blessing when you don’t get “…and you will be dead in two years” news from your doctor! LOL!

  1. Good to hear that your health is doing better, Doug. It’s nice that there didn’t seem to be a lot of traffic for your appointment drive. Andy looked eager to see you when you got back.

    • I have a trip to the Black Hills (Rapid City again) Friday, and should do another post showing the region for you readers!

    • The rose bush was one of spring time’s big deals. To hell with the people who ripped it out of the ground!
