Unfortunately, dialysis patients are likely to experience a degree of fatigue someone characterized to me as like that one has after running a marathon. I don’t know what running is like, but the fatigue after dialysis hits like a light switch has been flipped. You feel tired but functional
The switch is flipped and in an instant, I am physically so tired, I better be near my bed. I barely can stand. I barely can walk. All I can do is go to bed, no matter the time or the impact it has on nighttime sleep. Oftentimes, the length of sleep amounts to a regular nighttime amount, just not in the time frame in sync with the rest of humanity. It’s tedious but part of the hassles of the medical procedure. Add exhausting appointments like the five hour round trip to Rapid City to this and it takes several days of upset sleep routines before I’m rested again.
I hope you did get your nap, Doug. Mr Andy certainly enjoyed his.
I’ve totally been there, Andy!
For sure!

Sometimes one has to sleep during the day, no matter what. True for kitties, too.
That definitely is the case for me these days, Lavinia.

A long nap can affect one’s night sleep. Have a good one.

My best to you, Doug. I hope you do the best you can.
I doubt that it impacted Andy’s nocturnal snooze.
Probably not! LOL!

I know the feeling
It gets in the way of normal activities the thing that is most tedious to deal with.

good idea… have a good nap time…
It helped

Ha! Daytime naps never seem to interfere with any cat’s nighttime sleep!
Considering they sleep most of the time anyway!
