Where’d this day go?

I don’t think I accomplished anything I set out to do today, except wash the dishes.

Here it is, time to feed the kitties. Andy came by to >meow< and let me know he wanted something. He does that.

Then Dougy just stopped by, caught my attention (he checked over his shoulder as he walked away, to verify that), stopped by the cat feeding station by the fountain, sniffed the plates for any sign I'd been there, then crossed the path to the dry food feeding station.

There he is, sadly eating something he'd rather not eat when he's expecting wet food at this hour. Shame on me!

So, this will be a short note, documentation of my abuse of two sweet cats through delay in feeding wet food. I expect an ASPCA visit any moment now if I don't stop to fix the boys' wet food now!

What? I wonder who's at the door at this hour?

  1. It’s an act! Andy is a mild, even shy, little cat. His brother Dougy is more outgoing. Neither presses his luck too much with me. Ha! Actually, they never ask for more than they should get, just like all our animal friends.

    • Notice how he gives me “blinkey-eyes” at 00:14? That’s “Catinese” for “I love you, and I trust you”. Andy and I play “blinkey-eyes” all the time. Dougy doesn’t join us much in that activity, but he jumps on me at night, and walks all over me, stopping to purr away and “knead-bread” with his paws, which is another form of kitty love.

      • Yeah! Andy’s hassling me even as I type. He walks up to me, puts a paw on my arm, then runs away. I’ve never determined what it’s all about since he’s never after the same response each time. This time, he put his paw on me, then ran over to the fountain for a drink of water. Hunh!?
