…then rolled over and put his paw on my arm, the way he always does.
It’s one of his more charming behaviors. I like it!

Cats are good at that – reaching out and touching with the little paw. Nano likes to hold my head in both his paws and purr loudly when I pick him up.

So affectionate! I love it. My Rusty (Exotic) likes to cuddle and put his paw – front and back ones – on my arm, too. Is your Dougy an Exotic?
He and his brother have a Persian mother and a Birman father. He also straddles my arm, though that’s usually when he hops up on my bed to sleep with me.
