Both boys ate breakfast. Andy’s had his medicine and currently is in hiding. Dougy thought it’d be fun to play “wand toy” for a while, but pooped out before he got started…!

post-breakfast nap!
[Z-z-z-z-z…!]
A cat after my own heart.
…and mine!
Poor little thing. He wore himself out with all that cuteness!😸
I keep telling them to tone it down…!! 🙁
Hehe – good luck with that!
Yeah, I get the kitty equivalent of the two-year old’s “why?” It makes no sense to the boys!
This is why I skip breakfast!!! Coffee only 😉
Ordinarily I eat late and light for breakfast. When I break that pattern, I feel like an over-fed boa constrictor the rest of the day!
Same for me hence no breakfast 🙂 cup of coffee will be sufficient!
The boys had their breakfast. I thought I’d break habit and eat early, too, but all I got for it is an unset stomach! My body told me, in a hushed whisper, “I’ll kill you if you do that again!” And it will!
I hate upset tummies 🙁 I love really spicy food. My tummy doesn’t… Sigh
Exactly! I love it hot and spicey, but my stomach thinks I should rethink such meals!
Such a cutie 🙂
Dougy thanks you! 🙂
Dougy is great! I also love to take a nap, mostly however after lunch. We have a rounded yellow couch that looks like a big bowl. Very comfortable! ;))
The couch sounds wonderful!
I am sure the anxiety of taking meds, may have made him to take a nap. 🙂
Could well be. Later today, he’ll walk up to me and meow to get his face rubbed and whatever else he’s in the mood for at the time.
Hope Andy feels better & Dough keeps up the shenanigans!
Me, too! Otherwise, I have nothing to post!
Ha! Ha!
I’m ready for a nap. I was at a birthday party early this morning. Maybe your cats were there, too.
I eventually took a short one in late morning, though it wasn’t the planned and mentioned one! No mention of birthday parties, but then maybe they didn’t want to spoil the fun by having me there, too! LOL!
I wondered where you were. Not everyone was sent an invitation, but all were welcomed. This I know.
Yeah, plus I’m trying to make better use of my time than to sit at my computer all day. (I’m making progress!)
Alas! I have a job that I have to work on the computer.
I had one of those. Nice part: no one bothered me because I set up my computer so I faced a wall while I worked. LOL!
I woke up to a snow storm and now that everyone is fed, i’m like you. I feel like going back to bed. 🙂
I generally have to wait till middle or late morning before food sounds possible…!
I’m the same, but the fur balls act like they haven’t eaten in months, the minute I wake up. 🙂
Dougy (who is a little plump) is the loudest to protest late food service. Andy is more modest in his protests.
lol… I love my post breakfast nap as well!
I can do it sitting up in my computer chair or stretched out on my bed. If I were smart, I’d chose the bed, then I wouldn’t be tempted to skip the nap so I could piddle on the computer…!
love the photos of Dougy in the big bowl snoozing. Ali woke me up at 5 am to get her breakfast and then proceeded tot ell me she wanted something else which she got. Right now it is more keep the wright on than try to make her eat what she says she won”t.
She is doing better.
Have a good day today.
Great! Appetite is a good sign, I’d think! I hope you have a good day, too! That’s one of Dougy’s favorite places to snooze. It’s just snug enough for him and he can curl up nicely in it. No square corners, ewither, so it must be more comfortable than the salmon-colored tub in the kitchen that he also likes. (The one featured in the photo the other day. http://phainopepla95.com/2015/03/14/post-710-the-grocery-inspector/ )
Can’t say I blame him! 🙂
I’m thinking a post-breakfast nap might do me good, too. I ate an unusually large breakfast, nnd it’s left me sleepy!
