Andy’s tummy tells him it’s time for kitty food. Andy tells his tummy it’s still time to snooze….!
Andy’s tummy seems to be winning the argument! Andy yawns and prepares to wake up.
“Well, maybe my tummy can wait a little longer!”

Yes, and he lets me know his perfectly calibrated internal clock is working at least twice a day! Dougy is more erratic, sometimes missing out on the feeding times because he’s snoozing instead of begging to be fed. Andy (the wee rascal!) just eats his and Dougy’s share of the food when this happens, then I have to set up a separate feeding for Dougy.
They have dry food out to munch on at will (Dougy’s having a snack as I type), but the big deal is when I put out the wet cat food. They love their wet kitty food!
Dougy came over and whined about his tummy wanting kitty g=food, and that brought Andy to his senses. The boys had their kitty food, and now are getting back to important cat business, namely, their after kitty food nap! Andy hasn’t put two and two together yet, however, and takes his nap on my computer desk, which makes it very easy to catch him for his medicine! (That’s next on the agenda for Doug, the human one!)
I have a reprieve for a couple of days cause he gets a pain killer that zonks him out, so the pill is easy. But when that runs out, let the games begin! 🙂

That must be one heck of a pain killer!

It comes in an oral syringe, pre-measured. So I know I’m not over dosing, but ya it packs a wallop. (wonder if they have it in human form) 🙂

Andy’s medicine is delivered by oral syringe, too, but I have to do the measuring, using the markings on the tube. This seems to be a reasonably good way to give cats medicine. I’m glad I don’t have to stuff pills down his throat or give him injections!

I would have preferred the syringe for the medicine as well. But so far he’s being pretty good about it. 🙂

Nothing like dosing critters, eh?!

Ugh! You have to give both. I didn’t realize that till just now!
That is a true cat dilemma. I’m sure he would have appreciated breakfast in bed. 🙂
LOL! 🙂 No doubt!
Lol! That’s so cat 😉
And how!
sweet boy
That he is!
Oh to be a cat when you are fed , care for ,feed pain pills, and sleep in a trash can, how much can life be
We have it all wrong
Oh to be a pet then a human
I’m coming back as a furry thing
To hell with keys to a car
give a washer machine or give me death
It is pretty ideal from the cat’s point of view!
Andy says, “Food o’clock!”

What on earth is Andy laying on? It looks like he’s inside a Xerox machine taking a copy of his silhouette.
Shoko
That’s the washing machine lid of a stacked washer/dryer. If the dryer door were open, he’d be sleeping in there.
MOL…I should have recognized it but I didn’t. I would rather have a copy of Andy’s silhouette…
Shoko
LOL!
Kitty looks hungry. They are consummate actors. (feed the kitty)
Oh, they had their kitty food, and did a good job of eaiting it up!
So cute, mine always want to eat … Sebastian was a scavenger before he came to stay with me … he’s always hungry. Bah

Ahh the age old kitty battle food/sleep, sleep/food. 🙂

LOL, I have another medicine issue. One of my guys cut his leg and needed stitches. Now I have to fight for tens days giving pills. :-/
Gad! I’ve been spared giving pills so far, but I suspect it would be hell for the cat and hell for me! You have my sympathy…and wishes for good luck!
