One thing about being a cat: You can pretty much do what you want (or don’t want) when you want to do it. It is no surprise, then, that the boys decided not to do anything today. Well, other than just cool it. Cats have that down to a science!

Andy has no plans today.

So he checks around.
Nope! Nothing going on here today!

A good excuse to do a little grooming.

The sun feels good on Dougy.

“Hunh!? A bird outside? Maybe I should…!”

“Naw! The sun feels sooo good, I’m not moving for anything!”
The picture in the bowl is adorable! Does he sit there often?
Yes, it’s a favorite spot!
Oh to have a chill out day like a cat…😁
It requires certain preconditions, among which are no phones, computers, televisions, or other distractions along that line…!
Really, I think I need that once a month!!!
You have a pretty heavy load, from what I pick up reading your blog. Mother, blogger, cat servant, etc….! I think once a month is less than enough for you!
But can I spare the time??! That’s the problem!!!
Only if you reassess your priorities and determine some things are less important than you think they are. That, I fear, if harder to do than to say! I don’t know what you could cut out, personally, from what I read in your blog.
I know!!!! It’s all kinda essential….!!!
You are at that stage of life where you need 27 hour days or longer. You’ll survive it, but you’ll really, really, really appreciate the day you can tell yourself, “I think I’ll take a short nap…!” and do it!
27 hours would be good, but you know what would happen I’d fill them too and STILL be tired!!! But I do look forward to the days of Napsville!
LOL Of course you would! 🙂
The life of a working mum eh!!!!
Whew! I’m tired thinking about it!Incidentally, that was a fine photo of your beautiful kitty in one of today’s blogs!
Aw that you very much!!! 😸
🙂
Hehehe – I’m with Dougy!!😺
He makes good use of that — those! — tubs.
They have the right idea. Felines definitely know how to make the most of life!
If it has to do with personal comfort, they work it out!
Apparently they wore themselves early in the week. Sometimes they find the burden of caring a human can wear a cat to a frazzle.
You know it, Susan!
George can wear himself out in the morning racing around back and forth waiting for his breakfast. Then he sleeps until he wants to eat again. Oh, and he complains loudly if room service is past due.
Mine hound me till I get out of bed. Dougy is especially mean about it, hopping on top of me and walking up and down my body. (Among other things…!)
I saw those orange-like eyes!
Yews, these photos (first one of Andy and middle one of Dougy show their eye color accurately, if barely.
Now those boys know who to chill.
Well, on July 1st, they’ll be a whole four years old, so they’ve had a little practice at it!
It is sure that Dougy found the best place ! 🙂
In friendship
Michel
Absolutely! He loves that tub! Actually, he has another tub like it that he wouldn’t share with Andy. I bought the second one for Andy, so, of course, Dougy took it, too! It’s a naughty thing a brother might do to another brother.
Just looking at your two today has made me feel very relaxed. Thanks Dougy and Andy.
Glad you had a salubrious result!
