Wow! Andy and Dougy came back from the groomer’s looking like movie stars! Money well spent, I say, and Murphy’s Grooming Boutique once again made me a very satisfied customer!
Yes, the boys were very, very happy to be home again after a longer than usual day at the spa. (I have it on good authority they not only were good boys, the barking dog didn’t bother them! What brave little guys they are!)
That second one is gorgeous!
Andy has a more kittenish look about him than his brother Dougy. I think it’s because Dougy has a more classic smooshed Persian face than his brother.
Andy looks super annoyed, like “Come on, ANOTHER picture. I know I’m gorgeous!” lol
So, today, post another one of Andy showing him in another typical pose on top of my pc.
They are so pretty 🙂
Thanks! I think so, too! They clean up nicely, though they are cuter than bugs with their hair natural, too. Dougy was especially pretty with his fantastic silver ruff. Andy is more known for his fantastic tail.
Very true his tail is amazing when it’s fully fluffy haha
After they’ve been trimmed up, of course, the tail looks even fluffier! I like the look and the boys are tail-proud. (You can tell because they get upset if you p[lay with their tails. LOL!)
XD Oli doesn’t like it when anyone plays with his tail either haha
Some things are sacred! (Of course, knowing this, I like to mess with their tails anyway. LOL! They let me know if I get too personal, though. They do still have their claws after all!)
Haha! We have to clip Oli’s nails every few months. :(. Not because I hate getting shredded to bits (though that adds to the need) but because they start growing inwards towards his pads. Problem is only the vet can get close enough to do this LOL. He won’t let anyone else do it.
That hasn’t been a problem with the boys, thankfully. I have nail trimmers that supposedly gauge where the quick starts and gives you a lighted warning, but I’ve not been brave enough to try them. The boys have heavily pigmented nails, as you might imagine for dark-colored kitties, so there is some ambiguity there.
Yeah Nubia’s claws are almost black themselves! Funnily enough it’s easy to clip her tips as she sits still waiting for her manicure… I wish Oli was like that haha
As destructive as my two are with their claws, I should trim them. Of course, they’ve ruined everything of value already so there is no benefit to the cat nor my things. LOL!
LOL. Luckily my two only go for their excessive amount of toys. If you don’t count the carpet that is… Sigh
Yes…the carpet…! What’s a kitty to do? Cat trees always have carpet on them, so well…!
Haha XD
My landlord will have something to say about it one day. I did pay a small one time pet assessment to cover pet damage, but the boys, well….!
XD. Hopefully he will just forgive them for being cute. 🙂
Forgive and accept a small monetary token of my good will to cover any additional damages, no doubt!
Landlords 🙁 my sister’s landlord is charging extra money monthly for her having a cat. It’s like it’s not another tenant you know?!? Pffft
Most places here have an extra monthly assessment for pets. Where I live, there is a one time $100 “pet deposit” (sadly, appropriately named….! LOL!), which seems reasonable by comparison.
Yeah my sister gets charged an extra 20dollars each month to cover for cat hair deep clean and repairs so that’s more than the hundred after just a few months 🙁
I know someone who pays $50 a month extra for the same….! I can’t complain, can I, having to pay $100 once,
They both look very handsome.
They do clean up nicely! And they are sooooo softy after they are trimmed up.
Oh they look so good-great haircut. Such handsome fellas.
Their groomer does a great job, I think. If you didn’t know they were long-haired cats, you might think the short look was their natural one.
Looking good boys!
I am really happy with how their spa day turned out! Aside from lookign good, they were good boys at the groomer’s. Since the groomer reserves the right to deny service to bad kitties and dogs, I appreciate the fact that they behave while there. Andy sometimes gets a little bored and uncooperative, I understand, but they know the boys from earlier visits, know what to do to keep them on track.
This an artistic haircut. They are both beautiful .
Take care they do not catch a cold .
In friendship
Michel
It’s in the low 30°C range here this week, so they are OK. Actually, their fur is very thick, even trimmed up this way, so they do fine. Also, since they are inside cats, I can control the temperatures they are exposed to.
