The boys love the sun, and the guest bedroom is perfect for sun-seeking kitties.

Andy claims the end table by the window, leaving Dougy by the bathroom doorway.

Andy’s in kitty heaven!

Now, if the human would go away…!

In the meantime, Dougy’s returns to the doorway.

A good stretch and Dougy fills the doorway so no one can pass.

Here Dougy is from the other side. He knows you know he knows you know he’s deliberately being an obstacle!
Definitely looks like they want to be left to their sunbathing.
That they do!
You got some great shots of both of them. I guess the sun makes them cooperative. 🙂
They stay in place longer, often ignoring the camera….!
Great pictures of my favorite Persian brothers, Doug!
Thanks, Lavinia!
haha, MOL…We see the tables are not meant for anything but cats. Everything else can be located on the floor. These two are following the sun and certainly look comfy.
Shoko and Mom Jean
Comfy they were, and the sun was good they declared!
cute picture
Thanks, Alex!
Too cute Weggie, my cuteameter is spinning overtime. Oh and guess what, I have the same little chest, only stained not painted, as you show in you first shot. Do we have good taste or what? In case you’re interested, here is an essay for one of my erstwhile catz….Catz just make my day! ~~dru~~

That was a very interesting blog post, and, if you’ve followed me long enough, you will know that I am fond of orange tabbycats! Louie the late ginger cat was a great kitty, a pound rescue cat. Unfortunately, he only lived a short time with me before he died from lymphoma, but there are several videos of him on YouTube. ( My channel is phainopepla95 .)
No weggie, I’ve only been with you a few days, i found you on the Harsh Realty invite. So I’l go check out your youtube channel AND yes aren’t the ginger cats odd but amazing. This guy was just too weird. If you wouldn’t pick him up when he demanded it…you know how that goes?…he’d just jump up to about chest height and if you didn’t catch him; he’d slide down your front, clawing the WHOLE way!

When you have a chance check out my song for simon: https://saywhatumean2say.com/2012/08/26/song-for-simon/
Ouch! My ginger weighed almost 24 pounds. He was an attention hound, too. You’d be sitting in a recliner, he’d walk up from the side, then hop onto your lap! I learned after the first time to have a thick pillow on my lap in case Louie wanted to be a lap kitty! LOL! One time, Louie hopped onto my lap when I was in my computer chair. The chaired tipped over, big ginger cat, me, and all! Louie was a great cat, and I miss him even now, five years after his death in a bit over a month. He died August 1, 2011. On a happy note, I got Andy and Dougy. That story can be read in the Andy and Dougy come home page, above.
So lovely 🙂 I love them, Thank you, Love, nia
They are soft as cashmere!
yesssssssss 🙂
!!!
It’s a hard job but someone has to do it. 😀
LOL!
The first time I see more of your house than just your living room.
Yes, I usually take photos in the living room or by the doors, but I noticed both boys were in the guest bedroom, realized there was a good chance to take photos of them in reasonably decent light for a change, and took advantage of the opportunity.
Oh, so you even have a guest bedroom … your house seems to be bigger then I thought.
It’s not that big: two bathrooms, two bedrooms, a kitchen, a dining area, and a small, narrow living room.
Big enough for a man and his two kitties.
Yes, exactly!
Today’s pics are great
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed them!
