You can’t always tell with a “floofy” cat. Maybe he isn’t mostly hanging off the recliner. Maybe he is. So I check: Yes, he’s mostly hanging off the recliner! So…
..I push his little butt over to make him secure.
Andy quickly falls back to sleep.
A short time later, he’s back in the first position. This time, however, that’s just “floof” hanging over the edge. This must be a kitty-comfortable spot.
Care and attention from you there, Doug. Well done!
Did Andy give you a dirty look or was he just half asleep?!
A bit of both I think!
A very nice gallery of Andy resting on the chair.
Thanks!
What a change! Some months ago he always was standing on the little round table !!Now he needs an armchair !!! 🙂

That’s because Dougy isn’t around to bully him any longer!
I understand the change of behaviour.
It was a welcome change to see a more confident, relaxed kitty boy!
Yes, cats do find some strange sleeping positions that are comfortable to them. 🙂
That’s a fact!
Living dangerously!
That’s my kitty boy!
They can sure find the strangest places and positions for sleeping!!
Andy was at least 1/3rd off the chair. Yes, they can get into the darndest positions to sleep!
It’s weird the different positions that cats think are comfortable.
Isn’t it?
that’s the edge of glory like in that song by Lady gaga ;O)))
Did you have to poke him to find out if it was fluff or flesh overhang?
I put my hand under the overhanging cat and learned that way. While my hand was there, I pushed him farther onto the recliner legrest.
