I found several kitty toys on top of the refrigerator. I used to put Andy’s toys up there so he didn’t carry them off and hide them. Then I forgot that’s where I put them because I have another kitty toy place now that’s next to where Andy and I usually spend our time together. Andy was very, very, very interested in the goldmine find!
It is a nice selection of kitty toys. Andy played with great enthusiasm with the feather toy in the short (accidental!) video, above. Good thing there are two of that toy because he RAWR’s it with lots of tooth and claw!
LOL! Check out that side glance in this cut from the photo above! Andy definitely got his kitten on for this stash of kitty toys!
When w e saw the title of this post we thought Andy had probably put them under the fridge !
LOL! He has a couple beds and other favorite spots for that!
That was a nice find. Happy Spring!
The bad part is II bought more kitty toys in between putting these on top of the refrigerator and finding them the other day. Can there be too many kitty toys in the home? I suspect so!
Probably thinks you were holding out on him. 🙂
LOL! Worse yet. I was being neglectful.
I have put things away like that and forgotten all about them. I guess am I no better than a squirrel with a pile of nuts. 🙂 Andy looks very pleased at your find.
He definitely is! That feather toy continues to be the one he likes best.
A fine stash
Andy approves! I thought I had some dried ‘nip on top of the refrigerator. Andy used the fresh ‘nip up and was begging for some, which prompted the search and the unexpected find of kitty toys.
Oh My that looks like a salmon fly (minus the hooks) I used a sea off Vancouver Island 😉 I got rid of my tackle box yrs ago whilst there is nothing in earths polluted waters I would eat +⚠️ kitties 🐱 luv fishing lures ℝ𝕖𝕞𝕠𝕧𝕖 𝕥𝕙𝕖 ℍ𝕠𝕠𝕜𝕤 ❗️ ( Sez Seaster Veadle the Cook that always left the meat on the hooks )
The construction and materials used in those kitty toys are exactly the same as those used in fishing lures. I suspect the manufacturer has a factory cat that got excited with fishing lures being made and the manufacturer, after unhooking the kitty, realized his customer base was much bigger than anticipated!
Cat Fish 😸
Yeppers!
This is so fun, Doug, Andy will maybe remember some and not others? Years ago, I forgot that I had put $200 bucks on the top unused shelf in the kitchen. I found it again at some point, so weird! Umm, yes!
I have done things like that. 🙂
Yes, I especially like little surprises like John’s $200 belt buckle! A $20 bill in a pocket of a jacket I hadn’t worn in over a decade was the best I did.
The feather toy seems to be one he remembers most. I don’t know if we ever played with a couple of them since I put them up on top of the refrigerator to have available when Andy wore out other toys.
