…a little bit, but the floppy carrot has lost most of its allure.

LOL! that he would, though that box went in the trash years ago. I only learned yesterday where the floppy carrot came from when I saw the exact toy in a video posted by another blogger. I never attached it to that toy, I guess because it isn’t seen in any videos I made of Andy and Dougy, his late brother, playing with the toy the floppy carrot apparently came with.
Sometimes I have rejuvenated old toys by washing them and getting all the old stink off. Sometimes the kitties are just tired of them. 🙂
Something I’ve never tried. Of course, I’ve set them aside, with good results.
With multiple kitties, sometimes one cat doesn’t like the last stink another cat left on it. 🙂
It’s been some time since Dougy died – 14 July 2020 – and Andy’s played with that toy a lot before now. That might explain some other toys, though.
I think the message is, it’s time to retire the carrot.
For the time being, for sure.
Perhaps he would like the box it came in

Have you ever seen a cat want to eat carrots or to play with? Andy, exceptional cat 🙂

You might be surprised how much he played with that before he became bored with it…!
aaah one carrot per day keeps the dogtor away ;O)
Lately, Andy would buy into that if he sensed a connection!
