“‘Celebrity Antiques Roadtrip’ is in Scotland this episode, Andrew!” (Andy’s named after the apostle St. Andrew, patron saint of Scotland! His middle name, James, though it could be in honor of King James VI, the Scottish monarch who became King James I of Great Britain, has a different origin.)

“It’s Esme! She’s a hoot and she likes big things, Andy! You’re big for a small kitty. (…too many Greenies, chum!)”

“See what I mean! A hoot! Her fingers through that Dutch pottery woman make legs! Har! Har! How they wiggle!”

“I guess that doesn’t make it for cat humor…. Of course, you aren’t a genetic Thomas or you’d be rolling on the floor. Make the pottery woman fart and…! Never mind, Andy, I still ‘wuv‘ you!”
=(^+^)=
For those who’ve never seen one, here’s a scary episode of James the Cat” – it features a thunderstorm! There are lots of episodes on YouTube:
James also is a family name I’ve always liked.
I might check out that series. I know I like Simon’s Cat. Thank you.
Simon’s cat is much more sophisticated, both in animation style and in themes that reflect the cat knowledge that comes from keen observation of the real animal. FI like it a lot, too!
Great pictures and an enjoyable video, Doug! 😊✨
Thanks, T.W.!
Wow, cool 😎 cartoon, I’ve never seen those before! I have some Scottish ancestry myself. Andy’s looking so cute!
Yes, “James the Cat” is charming!
I remember James the Cat! I saw one other video at some point. They are well done.
Sounds like you and Andy had a fun day! 🙂
The program was on for several seasons and YouTube has the whole series.
That’s a very different cartoon, cute! James is a fine English name. Many Americans have British family roots. 👍🏻🇬🇧❤️
Yes, though I saw a video that showed the ethnic backgrounds of Americans from start up to 2022. It turns out the biggest ethnic group in the USA is German! I know that’s true for my state, but it surprised me it was the same for the USA.
Wow man, that is nothing like I ever thought of. 😵💫
I think they broke UK totals down by country, which diluted the total UK contribution to the US totals.
Okay, I’m not familiar with that but it sounds good. I so want to go home to England. ❤️🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
oh yes… so andy is an expert in all things scotland ;O)
No, but he has that hard-heaqdedness of the Scots. He doesn’t like oatmeal, haggis, or single malt scotches, but he tries to remember Robbie Burns Day in January….
It’s funny how certain episodes of a series will; stick in our minds.
I bet James remembers that thunder storm!!!
