Andy’s restless today.

Don’t want Greenies?

No, he just wants to rest a bit.
=(^+^)=
I read a sad notice on Facebook this morning. Maggie the shelter dog saved from a life of abandonment and abuse by my friend Liz A., died at home two days ago. She was a beautiful pit bull, sweet but afraid because of her prior life, she came out of her shell through the love and care of Liz and her family.

I became aware of Maggie when I was hospitalized in 2017 and Liz was one of two blogger friends who did kind things to make my stay in the hospital and two months of rehabilitation less difficult. One of the kindnesses of Liz was to send me a framed photo of this special dog. That framed photo still is on the front room wall where I can view it every time I pass through that room.
Now that she is a doggy angel, I will be sadder she’s gone but happy she had a much kinder home life once Liz adopted her and helped restore Maggie’s trust and love.
RIP Maggie.

Maggie’s framed photo, on my front room wall.
Restless days are part of life. It’s sad to see a loving dog pass away.
Yes, she was thought at one time before Liz adopted her to be a hopeless case, but time and effort helped Maggie become a wonderful family member.
Sorry to hear about Maggie. At least she had a good life with your friend
Yes, and it proved that it is possible to help an animal in need to come around and become a great family member!
So sad. I’m glad Maggie had a loving home with your friend.
Me, too.
My condolences to your friend.
I’ll pass it on.
I’m sorry about Maggie, Doug. Sad. Perhaps Andy is bored and needs to play?
Andy never was a very playful kitty, unlike his late brother. When toys were brought out, Dougy usually played first, then Ansy joined the fun.
Aww that’s too bad but he’s so sweet and cute!
I am saddened to hear fine sweet Maggie has passed on, Doug. I am glad to know she had a good life with her rescuer, Liz. May Maggie rest in Love and Peace.💙🌈🐾
Me, too, Lavinia. Especially because of her breed, people might have seen her as not worth the effort.
They are all worth the effort.
I agree.
A fine reminder of Liz, too
I agree. Maggie’s early days were rough, but they didn’t give up on Maggie.
Aww, it sounds as if Maggie had a lovely life with your friend. 😇
She did.
Finding the right time and place for a rest can take some doing! So it’s good that Andy took some care checking out all his options! I’m so sorry about the loss of Maggie. She was a pretty puppy dog indeed, and I know your friend will miss her.
Andy knows all the good places.
Maggie is now with the winged angels, leaving her wingless angel Liz with buckets of fond memories until they meet again. Sweet heavenly rest Maggie xoxo
I have no doubt Maggie’s memory will continue.
