Asleep, all you see moving are Andy’s whiskers…and the cameraman’s wiggling the camera.
(I poke Andy sometimes to make sure he’s alive. Am I the only one who does this to his sleeping kitty? It’s alarming when a “floofy” kitty is asleep because you don’t always see breathing movements.)
I don’t poke Catorze, but I watch the fur cracks on his belly to see if they’re rising and falling.
There usually is a fan blowing in the front room, making that problematic.
Sweet video. I wonder if Mr Andy is enjoying an unlimited supply of Greenies in his dream.
My husband sometimes pokes Barmalei to check on him.
One wonders….
😻
I do that too, especially with my 18 yr old, Joanie.
But you can hear him sleeping tight 🙂
I’m surprised I’m not alone in this!
That’s scary, i’m glad Andy is okay, Doug! Are you listening to a police scanner? I do that and monitor ham radio from my couch!
No, I don’t have one of those. In this town of 8000+, there wouldn’t be a lot happening at most times.
Okay. 👍 it’s 8:45 here, what is your time?
9:52 pm – I’m in the Mountain Standard Time zone. I saw your note seven minutes after you posted.
Thanks for your reply, Doug. I sometimes ask folks here and on IG that question. Australia is a day ahead of the Pacific time zone here. 👍😊
You are not alone, Doug. We do the same here.
It kind of surprised me!
I can’t seem to play this video. 😢😢😢
There is virtually no movement, though the whiskers wiggle a tiny bit.
Yes, Doug, my Sister used to poke Fooie when he got older, and went deaf with bad eyesight, as he slept. You are not on your own, mate. Cheers.
It surprised me to learn I wasn’t the only one poking his kitty to see if he was still alive! LOL!
It’s only natural to me and Jane, Doug. Hahaha!
Andy does it to me, perhaps for the same reason…!
That’s understandable, mate! Hehe!
Yep!
A twitch in time may save a poke
Indeed! And has.
aaah the purrfect video to start into a new week…
I agree, though it was a somewhat thin post for the day,
Sleepy whisker twitches, I’ve seen those too! I wonder if they’re sort of unconsciously sampling the surrounding air to make sure all’s calm and okay.
Andy sometimes snores and purrs in his sleep, too. I think that is too sweet!
