My stoic little kitty!

Andy’s a wee bit restless now, so I begin massaging his arm, a happy thing for Andy!

I know: he doesn’t look happy!

I know he needs more calming now.

And the neck!

Can’t get too much of that.

Yes! Yes! Yes!

Finally, Andy’s “kitty sense” tells him…

…someone’s coming through that door.

Dr. Sylvia Olejnik comes through that door and gently removes my kitty from the carrier.

Andy’s being surprisingly calm about being handled…

…by unfamiliar hands.

Dr. Olejnik is substituting for Andy’s regular veterinarian, Dr. Ylander, who, says Dr. Olejnik, is on vacation.
She’s brand new to the practice, and Andy and I are impressed with her competent handling of her patient!

It required a little of this-and-that to keep Andy in the carrier, though he soon calms down for the ride home.
Poor Andy – no one likes to go to the doctor
That’s a fact!
Wishing Andy good test results, Doug! He was a real trooper for his visit.
I was pleased he is in such good shape! He actually is pretty goid about trips, even if he puts up a kettle resistance getting placed into the carrier. At the veterinarian’s, he is calm on the examination table and puts uo with the veterinarian’s probing and sticking like a big boy! He does hate blood pressure taking. They told me they have a new system that doesn’t necessitate trimming hair off the foot or tail to apply the cuff. That was part of what upset Andy the most, then the cuff topped it all!
I hope all his tests come back good.
He,will have ine medication now, but is in excellent shape orherwise
Glad all went well for Andy at the vet’s. Purrayers for good results on his tests.
He came out of it with a good teport!
Good Andy, you didn’t make the things hard… I hope and wish your result to be fine. You know we love you All, Thank you dear Doug, Love, nia
He has one medication to go on but is in excelken5 condition. The Greenies treats helped. He has very clean teeth because of that treat!
I am so glad to hear this dear Doug, Thank you,
much love and hugs to you both, nia
Hopefully, the test results will show how healthy Andy is.
He actually is in pretty decent health for a 13 year old kitty!
I hope all the results are excellent.
He does have hyper thyroidism that will require medication. It isn’t unusual in older cats.
They are always better for the ride home. It’s like they know it’s over.
Indeed!
Ya gotta love that look on his face!!
Sweet, isn’t it!
he is a very good boy… well done and bring one an extra greenie…
I am pleased he behaves so well away from home!
That went very well
We both were happy to get it done!
