I found my way here from Louis Catorze blog. Andy is some big boy and such a gorgeous tail. My cats Freddie and Tish choose to decide if they want to respond to their names or just ignore me,
He seems to be putting on weight, one indicator thst the hyperthyroidism medication is working. I’ll find out for sure on the appointment January 17th.
I love the expression on his face when he finally responds, “What do you want, human?”
Dang cat! Yeah, that’s a good one.
😻

One of my favorite cat blogs…! Yes, Andy has been known to ignore me, too.
Andy looks happily conked out on his lapboard! 🙂
How is he doing with his hyperthyroid medication?

None of our cats respond to their names or anything else except maybe chicken.
Andy reacts to “kitty food” when I ask if he wants some.
When Chris was alive he would get excited about Stella and Chewy nuggets. Now I can’t get rid of them.
Andy periodically decides he doesn’t like this or that food or treat, only to get back with the food or treat when I change presentation. Geez!
Shortly before Chris died, I bought a couple of cans of food that they loved so I bought a case of it. That’s when they all decided it was no good.
Oh my word, his tail! 🥰
His best feature!
That is good
Yeah!
Sneak accomplished and attention won! Onwards to dreamland!
He usually responds to his name.
