Andy stopped by after his nap.Fred and Ginger were dancing their hearts out.“I don’t get it, Doug.”I tried to explain they did this to get people food, to get it into terms he might understand, or that it was a form of people play. Really??He chose to stay but didn’t watch the movie.Predictable!

I don’t like the blond guy in that movie, so I don’t watch it much and had to google the song/dance. I cracked up cause I had also been thinking, “what’s the song where they dance with foreheads touching?” Both Qs answered with one clip… thx!!
Yes, he was the main lead in that movie, and Astaire and Rogers were secondary characters.
The blond gue was Gene Raymond, who was hot stuff in the early 1930’s. He was married to Jeanette MacDonald till she died. I thought Raymond was a bit too pretty to be taken seriously, but that is not to suggest anything was wrong with him.
I am crackinv up… I just saw an old saved draft post title, “A bit of wicked wacky-wicky”*… which is from The Carioca!!
LOL!
Mr Andy is entitled to his preferences.
As if I had any say!
😻
I bet he would enjoy Cats. 🙂
LOL! Player the lead no doubt.
I can see little Andy was not impressed with the movie. I agree, the “Really?” was a good caption 🙂
Yeah! He tuned out soon into it.
I am with Andy…..good kitty chuq
He let’s me know quite well what he thinks of things!
Good kitty chuq
Amazingly so!
The really? caption is spot on
That’s a fact, Derrick!
Hmm, well, I suppose cat courtship does differ … Starting with the perfume the tom sprays to establish his turf … No wonder the dance puzzled Andy!
True! True! Followed by lots of yowling and biting….
The Piccolino!! I love when Ginger does the back kick with glance (Fred’s doing it too but I only ever notice Ginger during that song).
TopHat and GayDivorcee are 2 of my fave movies!!
Yeah, Andy missed a great one! My favorite is their first one together, in Going Down to Rio…the Carioca.
I like the guy who’s Tonetti/Bedinni… I don’t recall which he is in this movie.

Funny timing… the story line of this morning’s Jack Benny rerun featured him dancing with Ginger Rogers.
Interesting coincidence!
