“Say what?!” Dougy hears something outside on the other side of the house.
Andy hears it now, too. Faster than a smart phone camera, the two kitty boys are off to an adventure on the other side of the house.

Hmm… maybe it was a neighborhood doggie they heard barking? There’s an old doggie that lives across the street from me and other doggies in the neighborhood, too. Sometimes I hear them bark or see them walk by on the sidewalk. Purr purr purr.
Couldf be. There’s a chihuahua that lives next door. And there are three kitties that live across the lane!

Still no snow here in NC lol. Looks like Andy and Dougy are having fun.
They love that window. The trees – especially the fir tree – all have lots of birds in them.
You lucky guys have sunshine, we envy you! Birdwaching is so fun when the sun is shining, not with heavy gray clouds.

Not to feel too sad, Kosmo. Today it was very cold, with blowing snow so bad major roads were closed to traffic in the central part ofg= my state. No sun for the kitty boys and me! Smart birds were sheltering in the fir tree outside the window and not showing themselves.
Nothing like a sunny day to get the kitties curiosity up and running on full speed. It’s snowing here and dark as a salamander’s butt. Not much curiosity about what’s happening outside.
I enjoyed the words from Lavina Ross and totally agree. Yers, older cats are an expense, more work but worth it. They do get dstubborn and icky at times but we would do and we deserve proper care. When they are not in pain or out of sorts, they’re we personalities shine through. Looking after Kali was difficult but so worth it.

Thanks for your testimony about elderly cats, too. I think we learn a lot about ourselves by how we treat our pets when they grow old.
Good to see the boys enjoying a bit of winter sun! It is rising way in the southeast these days. At equinox, it shines directly in the east window. Our own “CatHenge” of sorts.
Good thing they enjoyed it that day because it is very cold, snowy and windy today!

It depends on the day and the kitty boys’ moods! LOL! I usually use the alphabetical order standard myself, regardless of the moods of the day.
