I guess you are right about that, Dolly! He stopped sleeping on his back in recent years, but only recently began it again. I think Dougy may have taken advantage of Andy wh4n his tummy was exposed. Andy must feel safe again to sleep this way. I agree: adorable!
Yes, I am grateful for all the photos and videos, and realize the same now holds true for Dougy. I regret that I only have one photo of Freckles since I didn’t start making videos or lots of photos till after she died.
Yes, he really likes that for sleeping and scratching. With the death of his brother, he inherited the second one, and he sleeps and scratches on that one, too. These turned out to be one purchase that my kitty boys both love, love, love(d)!

But they didn’t seriously hurt each other, did they? Even when tummies were exposed, it was all in good cheer, wasn’t it?
Mostly it was play fighting, but there were a couple times I had to intervene.

I wish I had more photos of our old black cat, Mr. Beaucastel, who died in 2005. I was only beginning to use the camera back then.
