It turned out that way. The Louie mugs started out as just a fun way to celebrate a special kitty boy, then he died suddenly of lymphoma. Along the way, various PCs and laptops “died”, and some of the photos on the mugs were lost or hidden away on the Internet, so I appreciated having the memories on the mugs.
Oh, I have to wonder if it was a Heart Attack with Dougie, since it happened so quickly.

He had a little bit of blood on the end of his nose. I wondered if he ran into something in the dark when a zoomie attack came on and suffered a spinal injury. The heart attack is a possibility, too.

I never learned what caused Dougy’s death, but the veterinarian did a post mortem on Louie. That’s how I knew why he died.
