05Nov22: important kitty business…

Tail high…

…Andy hopped on the recliner footrest…

…and…

…gave me the look that told me…

…he was there for important kitty business: his morning kitty bath!

=(^+^)=

It seems I actually set up my new television to bring me my Spectrum channels by Wi-Fi instead of cable box. That means I should be able to reduce my Spectrum bill to just the Internet. Wonder of wonders! So typical of me – freak out over new technology, then get it right without knowing I did! Whew! Now, maybe I can work out how I speak out to my television to change channels or whatever else it can do. Magically, too, the new television can be controlled with exactly one remote!

    • Spectrum is pricey, too. As an old subscriber, I just got a new offer for an amount that is outrageously cheap compare with the $200+ a month I pay for one step up past basic. Other than price, I pretty much like the Spectrum service. When they make a promise to come between X and Y o’clock, they always do. Their service people are well-trained and always get the issues fixed fast and for good.

  1. Hopefully the Spectrum signals come through that way better than through the box. I can not watch the Guardians games becuase “the signal is unavailable at this time.”

    • They are about equal, though it’s hard to judge since the old tv was a 25 incher and this new one is 43 inches. (I guessed at what size the old one was when I got the new one, so the new one turned out literally to be a big surprise. It’s too big for the old tv stand, so that’s the next expense.) I need to go through the set up again to see about fine-tuning the picture and closed caption features, but it is fine for now – I need to build up my tolerance for pointless new technology first! LOL!

  2. Sounds like you have found a good solution to the TV problem, Doug. As for Andy, there is no business lie kitty business! He looks like he has settled into being the only cat in the house. He looks like a happy boy.

      • yes really seems it is great technological using… Have fun and enjoyable times with your new TV solutions… Thank you, Love, nia

        • I’m learning how to use it. Televisions are so much more complicated these days! The best news about the new one, though, is one simple remote works for all functions instead of two for the old one. Also, instead of a cable box, the new one operates on a Wi-Fi signal, skipping the cable box. It should make my monthly bill cheaper.
