Andy sometimes pops up before I can clean up the fragments of treats that he won’t or can’t eat, leaving just the ones he can or will eat.

It confuses him!

He stares at the mess, waiting for me to clean it up.

On the other hand, if he wants his Greenies bad enough, he’ll give in and tackle the problem on his own. (He wastes a lot of treats, expecting new ones to be put out even when there are some leftovers from earlier.)
Some things we do aren’t driven by logic. The same for Andy.😊
That’s a fact!
It’s the way it should be, I think. For some things, anyway.
Hi, this has a familiar ring to it, but since I have the 2 cats here’s how it goes. Dixie won’t eat her treats if they are not put out fresh, I mean really fresh. On the other hand she won’t let Little Girl have her treats, she eats them before LG can even get to them.
LOL! Andy tens to be a “fresh or won’t eat” kitty, though I leave them out till he realizes it’s those treats or nothing. He’ll eat them then. Sometimes I add new treats to the old ones, which tricks him into eating old with new. It’s a constant game!
Can you put just one or two treats out? It might save the mess.
I’ve done that, too. Andy isn’t always predictable on presentation preference for the moment.
Oh, I’m watching My Cat From Hell on TV just now. Cats are as complex as humans in some ways.
that’s a fact. I’ve had four cats over the years and none rated anything as difficult as the cats in that program.
That’s good news!
Hello Andy.. 🩷🩷
नमस्ते, Vermavkv!
These series of Andy facial expressions are great, Doug! He is cooperating with you. Andy is one cool kitty!
I shoot till I have enough for a mini-tale!
My cats never leave treat crumbs. They will fight over one that looks like fly speck.
I wish Andy was that way. I don’t recall if this was the way treats ended up when the late Dougy and Andy shared treats.
Maybe Doug was a cat vacuum cleaner! 🙂
LOL! Maybe!
I’m stingy with treats for just this reason even though I have multiple cats and usually someone who feels shortchanged will come round again when the greedy ones are sated.
Treats can get to be a cat’s favorite food, to the exclusion of their actual food if one isn’t careful!
YUP!!
I would leave it to him 🙂
It works sometimes. I collect the bits and pieces and scatter them outside for the birds.
this look… very promising LOL
It was!
Ha! Andy’s face when he’s staring and waiting! Picky boy!
He’s a charge!
My Mum’s cat was equally fussy!
I don’t recall any of my other cats being this fussy.
