06Feb24: almost a change of pace….

Andy stopped by to clean up.

It got up into the mid-50s degrees F/ 13 degrees C here today, so I gave Andy the treat of a front-row seat by the open front door! The seat is directly in line with the bottom of the screen so he gets a perfect outward view. Of course, as soon as I left to get my smartphone to take photos of Andy enjoying the view, he got spooked and left me this scene: nothing!

Hiding behind the corner, he refused to come back for photos, then he headed to the north bathroom, where he hopped onto the stool for another little cleanup and then a nap.

=(^+^)=

I don’t get any prettier, but it still is a great feeling to get a haircut! That happened Monday, yesterday morning.

  1. Hey you look great, Doug! It’s amazing how a good haircut can change your face. 50 degrees? Lucky you! It’s been raining down here for three days no thanks to the weather system I’m sure you are seeing on TV. It’s so ridiculous and needs to end.

  2. The weather strange…. just a few days ago it was cold but starting Monday changed again, not cold not hot… Sunny and windy… Have a nice day dear Doug, Thank you, Love, nia

    • Exactly! I switched to a light jacket from a heavy coat to deal with the weird weather, but what I need early in the morning is still more than what I need later in the day.

Te running joke – somewhat a reality, too – here is that we wear cargo shorts year around, just adding aa down-filled vest when the weather hits subzero temperatures.
