Dougy hopped into the tub Doug (the human one) bought for Andy after Dougy had fits when Andy used Dougy’s tub. Andy, of course, doesn’t use it, but he doesn’t let Dougy use it either!
Dougy enjoyed the sun and Andy’s tub. He was getting away with the unthinkable! Woo hoo! (Andy will smell his stink on the tub later and be upset. So what?!)

Doug contemplates the ultimate assault on Andy’s sensibilities…! “What an insult, too,” Dougy purred.
Yes, he’s going to snooze on top of the blue carrier! (“Take that, Andrew James! Take that!”) Pfft!

Dougy sniffed around on the top of the carrier. He thought he heard something — ANDY?! — and he froze stiff!
Discretion is the better part of valor. Doug hopped off the carrier and had a mid-morning snack instead.
Sleeping on the blue carrier was just a step too far too soon! He values his tail!
That is so typical siblings. My two do the same lol 🙁
They keep me entertained with these little shifts in kitty power! (I have to respect the results or the “winner” becomes the “whiner”. Dougy is especially intolerant of “disrespect! LOL!)
Lol. Dough sounds a lot like Oliver haha. He is very intolerant of disrespect. Sometimes I have to pretend to be a cat and “wrestle” him down to give his sister a break haha XD. I’ll cuddle and continuously kiss him until he goes ENOUGH. I’ll
Behave 😉
Dougy mostly acknowledges I am a bigger top cat than he, though that doesn’t mean he can’t be sassy…!
I’m unfortunately classed quite lowly by Mr Oliver :x. I have to get my partner if he disobeys me – who apparently is seen as top cat by Oli LOL
Tewrrible! At least you have that option when needed! 🙂
True! Oli really whines when he can’t be top cat tho XD poor boy haha
Aww!I hope Oli gets to be top cat most of the time because a whiner can be very, very tedious. (You know who I’m referring to, too, Dougy! LOL!)
Haha. His sister has bullied him a bit as revenge the past few nights. Which is when he decided to curl up next to me at 3 am!!! Lol
Poor Oli! Sisters can be that way! At least Oli knows there is a port in the storm if sister gets uppity with him!
Haha so true. He only has himself to blame tho 😉 he annoys her when she sleeps EVERYTIME haha
The boys are usually respectful of each other…not! However, they agree on more things than not: open doors are fascinating, cardboard boxes are to lounge in, a piece of paper on the floor is a fort, toys are fun, etc!
Ha yeah that all sounds too familiar :). Siblings eh? XD
yep! :\
Great pics. Cats are just wonderful !
I definitely am biased, but I think so, too!
Just like people, eh? Cats really have an interesting societal tabus. What fun it is to watch them.
I’m glad I waited till I retired before getting my various cats for that very reason: I have the time to observe them. Sometimes I feel like a veritable Jane Goodall of Persian cats, and my Gombe is my apartment!
One can never be bored with cats around. Sometimes I think they are smarter than people. Or at least, some people.
…or some cats! =(^+^)=
MWAHAHAHA!😸 Dude. I can feel that angry glare from here!!
They can give some intense looks, for sure! Both boys have “stink faces” that belie the notion that Persian cats are sweet dispositioned cats! LOL 🙁
MOL! I can imagine- they are SOOO beautiful- even when they’re TICKED!!
How true! They fluff themselves up to look bigger, and their tails in particular are spectacular!
The look on Dougy’s face is priceless! Lucio likes to sleep on Abby’s favorite spots so his odor is there for her to contemplate later… 🙂
That’s his “happy place face”! Usually, it comes with a purr, though a very soft one.
Cats can usually get them selves in our mixing bowls before we can get any other ingredients to mix in them.
I know what you mean! Mine waste no time when the opportunities open up, too, and they always give me hurt looks when I banish them away!
Spunk and Najar fight to keep their place in the mixing bowls, so we sometimes end up locking them in the bedroom until we are done mixing. We play with them in the bedroom, so they don’t think of it so much as punishment — it adds a lot of time to our food prep.
I can imagine! LOL! Do they give you sad eye “why do you do this to us” looks when you remove them from the bowls? I mean, we know why they can’t stay there, but they always seem so confused and hurt being denied anything, eh?!
Not usually. They are too busy resisting to give sad eyes. But I can see your kitties could put on some really sad and pitiful eyes for you.
And how! Dougy is especially good at it. Andy always has a serious, scowly look about him, so never looks happy, even when he’s having a good time!
