Here’s what we woke up to in Western Nebraska this fine Mother’s Day:

Not Dougy’s first rodeo, yet he always wants to be the first kitty to inspect new snow.

As usual, there’s a nice drift on the driver’s side. If I believed the forecast, I would have backed my car into the parking spot to avoid the drift.

New snow and Sasquatch sightings abound!

Terrified kitties flee the terrible big feet of Sasquatch!
Wow. Snow on Mothers Day. I hope it is the last gasp of winter for you. I enjoy seeing Dougy inspect the new snow. Oh, it’s that white stuff again… well, I’ll be darned, he says.
The best part about snow this time of year is it’s mostly gone now, and was largely gone the next day.
Oh man snow on Mothers day in May. Awful. Run kitties run before the bearded sasquatch catches you.
The kitties were underfoot all day, and Sasquatch started to wish they’d go somewhere and take a kitty nap. Eventually, things settled down, and no kitties got squashed!
(bangs head against wall) no, no, no more snow!!!! Woof!
That’s pretty much how we felt about it, too. They got over a foot of snow north of here in the Black Hills of South Dakota, but we got much less. The stream through the Central Park became a river for a day when the snow melted, though, what usually happens when there’s lots of snow or rain..
Ugh, The weather is crazy this weekend throughout the nation but I think I would cry if there were snow on the ground here in west central PA. As it is we are topping 80 today, which is very strange for early May.
We had a day like that in February, I think it was, or early March. I really don’t look forward to hot weather.
Mercy! It was hot as all get out! Here in Florida. That’s just crazy!
It was a weird day…!
Snow-really? That is just not right.
No one asked us if we wanted it, unfortunately! LOL!
SNOW?? Oh my, we had some rain yesterday – but the days for snow have gone, now, finally.
Snow in May isn’t typical, fortunately, but, obviously, not impossible. I remember snow on July 4th one year, in fact. Of course, it melted by the time it hit the ground, but it definitely was snow in the air.
SNOW!!! Wow! No snow at all here this year.
Not that much here this year, either. Maybe a little less than average.
