Like the French for food, Dougy puts high value on presentation. Flash the feather in his face…meh! Hide it under the glide ottoman…YAY!
It’s mostly in the open, but Dougy loves to reach under things to get his “prey”.
PurRrrrrRrrrrrRRRR! Oh, does he love to stick his paws under things to feel his “prey”! It’s almost better than “catching” it!
The third image is my favorite. Dougy’s stare is very nice and so is the framing with the peacock feather in the foreground.
Yeah, I have to agree with you!
Those peacock feathers do look well-loved by the kitties. 🙂
That’s one way to look at it! LOL!
Looks like Dougy has enjoyed that feather a lot.
Oh yes! He love, love, loves peacock feathers! I buy them 50 at a time.
In his meals Dougy likes the “entrées ” be good and well presented. He has a visual taste ! 🙂
In friendship
Michel
Well, he IS a pedigree kitty afterall, Michel! LOL!
He like to stand at his rank !
LOL!
Hello, you three – kitties do love playing with feathers – maybe they wish a little more than One feather ? – amitiés – france 🙂
They have had toys with lots of feather before, but they seem to prefer the peacock feathers over most things.
Under is a good thing sweet Dougy that way the prey can’t see you comin’ to get it. Feathers are so much fun aren’t they? Hugs and nose kisses
I bet Dougy (who’s taking his morning nap!) agrees with you!
When I have play time with my pet
It has a real calming effect
Hope all is well Doug
As Sheldon Always
Yes, it is a good way to lower one’s blood pressure!
hhhmm – I wonder if the chickens next door would give up one of their feathers for me to play with? I’m off to ask…. snorts with piggy laughter. XOXO – Bacon
If not, I bet you could find some that fell out on the ground.
Half-way to my favorite grocery store is a house that has ducks, peacocks and 2 kittens. Can you just imagine what fun Dougy would have there?!!
I suspect the peacocks would have a better time after the first time Dougy tried to catch the feather! LOL! Of course, the two kittens may have wised the peacocks up to the intersts of cats in those lovely feathers.
The peacock feather… AGAIN??
You know it! The kitty boys love, love, love it!
oooh the feather game… I love it too… the mama put some in our christmas tree last year… but that was no good idea… peacock feathers and a weim-puppy are not compawtible..
Oh dear! That was a lovely but ill advised idea! I can’t put out Christmas decorations any longer because of the kitty boys. I have a nativity set made in Nepal of felt figures of the holy family. Little Baby Jesus is the same size (and almost shape!) of a toy mouse the kitty boys love, love, loved as kittens, and … well, it just isn’t right subjhected Little Baby Jesus to the maws of savage kitty cats! LOL!
