The “Cat’s Meow” toy entertained the kitty boys for a short while before they discovered they could stretch out beside it and the lure would come to them. You could sense the boredom! Then, the lure went missing.
A short time later, Dougy showed up playing with it. If the battery-powered toy was boring, it – the lure – became a favorite toy when powered by a human! Woo hoo!
Of course, my hand is a bit closer to my kitty boy than is comfortable, but we do what we have to do to keep our kitties amused. Ouch!
Cats always seem to like the more labor-intensive toys. Proves they control us. 🙂
LOL! You and I know it!
Dougy… You are so adorable.
He is playful!
He sure is!
Very clever Dougy. 🙂
He definitely figured out how to maximize the play value of that toy!

Oh yes, why have batteries when we our humans can do the job instead! And it is more environmentally furr-iendly. Tee hee hee.
Points well taken! Just not having to buy c-batteries is a positive since few other things use them and they are bigger than the more commonly used sizes.
Isn’t it interesting how they learn that they do not have to work for the toy, that it will come to them? 🙂
Not something they showed in the television commercials!
I like that we do the same around here

The toy gets used in a way. The rest gathers dust!
I use a leather elbow length snake handler glove for for ‘close’ quarter drills 😉 Washe kat is not interested in a robo toy bouncing & peeping around unless a ‘fillet’able part of me is connected to it 🐱 🐾
LOL!! Smart kitty! And that’s a good suggestion for safe playtime with an excited Dougy!
