You awake, Andrew?!

Zzzzzzz…

Yes!

=(^+^)=

My recovery from the recent hospitalization is moving along. I’m weak still, but getting better navigating with air lines. My doctor’s determined for me to have a colonoscopy. It’s been a while, so…. I’m in the “poop sampling” stage at the moment. Yippy! The joys of being a senior citizen.

I finished an antibiotics course this morning. Good! Having to work it into my dialysis schedule and weird sleeping routine is a genuine pain. I usually miss the pill time for one or two times, and this time around worked out exactly that way again.

  1. If you don’t have a history of colon cancer in your family, you could do Cologuard which is much easier than the prep for a colonoscopy.

    • I’m not exactly sure of what the preparation will be since I have the kidney issues, but the colonoscopy itself is not unpleasant since it’s done with me knocked out.

      • I was knocked out too thankfully. I had to get a ride there and back home. Very unpleasant experience. But it was medically necessary. They found the problem and corrected it. I’m

    • Thanks, Derrick! I am impatient by nature, so it’s taking too long, yet I do feel much better than in the recent past. One of the dialysis nurses noted I have better color than even earlier last week.
