20May23: sleepy kitties invite this…

Andy wakes me up to remind me it’s “feed-the-kitty-time” – usually around 12:30 AM!

That inspires me to…

…return…

…the favor!

Take this, Andrew!

OK. I’ll let you have your nap now. (Good move on your part, kitty boy! That recliner footrest fits you to a “t” and the recliner reflects body heat back to you. You should sleep better here than on the lapboard.)

=(^+^)=

I think I’ll order a taco pizza in town today instead of driving to Rushville tomorrow. I’ll eat half today and the rest I’ll warm up tomorrow. Of course, taco pizzas have to have the lettuce taken off before reheating, but that’s a small job compared with a two hour round trip, eh?!

=(^+^)=

Mostly, I just let Andy sleep. He’s so angelic in that state!

    • It was good, though Pizza Hut used to make a better one. For one thing, they use white onions now instead of the more zippy red.

      • I remember getting it at TacoBell or Naugles. I can’t recall which pizza chain had them back in the 70s/80s.

I ended up getting asada fries. Big serving but not great quality.

        • I finished my second half today, Sunday, as planned. I actually liked it heated up in the oven better than fresh from the restaurant.

          • Some food – pizza! – actually tastes pretty good cold. I don’t like potato and pizza rewarmed in a microwave, though, my favorite reheat tool. I used my over at 400 degrees F to reheat my pizza since I had half a pizza to reheat and it could fit flat in my microwave.

  1. Andy looks very comfortable, Doug. Sleep is a good thing. Enjoy the taco pizza! Rick makes clam pizzas from time to time for us. He was trying to recreate the local clam pizzas from his youth, which he said couldn’t be found anywhere in modern times. They are good!

    • i look forward to the pizza! And my own dreamland. Andy woke me up later (2:14 am) than usual but I’m still sleepy.
