Andy’s happy I opened the chewy box tonight! It had the new supply of kitty wet food inside, but, better, was a new box to hop in!

He knows that sound!

Yes! The sound of Greenies landing on the lapboard on top of the ottoman….

Little did Andy guess that…

…Doug tossed the Greenies on the lapboard to trick him into hopping up for a photo session and a nose “boop”!
Boop!

Next, ‘nip in the box to trick a kitty boy – you-know-who! – back into the chewy box!

Andy can’t believe Doug’s tricked him twice tonight.

So much for “Andy the Amazing Performing Cat“. Andy settles down to watch a bit of television before his nap.
=(^+^)=

Ugh! Minus 11 degrees F/ -18.3 degrees C at 8:00 pm. Oatmeal weather and a mug of hot coffee with chocolate for sure. Andy love, love, loves the box, of course, ‘nip or not, so it will stay around till he gets tired of it.
Even in Virginia the temps are nasty cold. I brought out my oatmeal cannister as a matter of fact. Oatmeal for breakfast and soup later. After all these years you’ve the lure ’em in for a photo down pretty well, you know just how to place the bribes.
That oatmeal and soup approach to nasty weather works well!
How people function in this weather is beyond me!
Love the first photo – tail forward!
With great difficulty!
Yeah, his tail looks phenomenal in that photo!
Well, so why would people choose to live in this difficult weather when there is such a warm welcome in sunny Florida?
In a word: hurricane!
LOL We don’t have them all that often, but you have bitter cold every winter.
It’s 43 degrees outside today, but you are generally right about cold weather. One can survive cold with less disruption in one’s life than what people go through after a hurricane.
Let’s agree to disagree, then.
No problem! It’s what one’s used to deal with. I find high winds frightening.
Aww, that one of him with his two paws on the table!
He can’t help himself!
Those are beautiful, expressive photos of Andy, Doug. Both of you stay warm, and stay well!
Thanks, Lavinia! Staying warm has been a challenge but I am finding just the right combination of blankets and heater settings.
Andy is a happy cat, wow! You spoil him so much, Doug. ❤️😊
It’s my job!
🤙🏻🤙🏻☺️
I once realized nearly my entire living room was covered in boxes for the cats – and that was before I got the kittens. I now limit them to 1 box in each room, including the bathroom.
LOL! I had a box in the front room, once, for something like three years. “I’ll toss it when the kitty boys stop using it,” I told myself. I eventually got tired of it and tossed it. The cats were perplexed and a bit upset!
Sometimes we don’t mind being tricked 🙂
Yes!
we hope the icy cold goes away and we will get spring… you nailed it… you have christmas and boxing day in one, well done…
It was an accident, but more fun than the actual holiday.
Good ways to spend those really cold days!
I’d never go out if it were possible in Winter. I like my heat!
I wonder how much of television he understands.
It would be interesting to be a Dr. Doolittle….!
