Andy and Dougy rarely are on the computer desk at the same time. Probably best that way, too, because the peaceable kingdom settles into anarchy when they do..
Andy is a particular pest to his brother Dougy. I sometimes have to intervene when the boys can’t settle who gets to have his favorite spot without his brother batting him around from above…(Andy is a rascal!)
Aww yes sibling rivalry.
đŸ˜›
Didn’t brother me đŸ˜€
Whew! It kind of reminds me of a little jingle my kindergarten classmates and I sang when the recess bell rang: “The bell, the bell, the bee-eye-el.” [sic! đŸ˜® ]
By late 1st grade, we got the spelling down, as I vaguely recall.
Yes, we’re familiar with the situation! Ellie
Cat referees!
Lmao! I’m sure Nubia thinks this of Oliver sometimes!!! XD
If Nubia has any cat self-respect, I’m sure you are right! LOL!
Yep. Im certain she does. Its just the way she looks at him sometimes… Lol
đŸ˜‰
LOL That’s great. I know it can get quite out of hand sometimes. đŸ˜‰
With 18 cats, I bet so! Of course, you live on a big enough place that probably saves you a lot of the hassles of cat confrontations!
True, the confrontations are minimal, except when six of them are fighting over space on my desk! đŸ™‚
Exactly! One is never more popular with the kitties than when trying to use a computer, I think. Or when using a can opener. (I use a mechanical one, but the boys come running no matter how far away they are at the time. LOL!)
I have an electric can opener as well. Amazing the range of hearing! My house is 3,500 square feet roughly. No problem for the cats! đŸ™‚
Electric can openers make enough noise I could believe they hear that, but the mechanical one I use is virtually noiseless after that first pop when it breaks through. Regardless, my apartment is probably a third as large as your house. They come running every time!
If it involves food, they seem to have super power hearing, but if you call them when they are not in the mood they go deaf. đŸ˜‰
Mine ignore me most of the time, though both pester me for attention when it suits their selfish needs. LOL! đŸ™‚
Sounds familiar! đŸ˜‰
Dougy goes one step beyond whining at my feet. (He’s a real whiner…!) He scratches on my computer chair, a leather covered deluxe chair that lost hundreds of dollars of value the very first day he hopped on it, which was the very first day I had it! Looks like a scratching post from top to bottom, which, of course, it is as far as Dougy is concerned, the little brat!
Leather + Cat = BAD NEWS đŸ™‚ simple formula really
đŸ˜€
How true! I’ve decided that I can have it recovered in fabric if it bothers me that much. Of course, Dougy would rip into that, too, the little darling.
But fabric doesn’t come of in strips! Luckily I learned my lesson on a second hand leather chair that I picked up for $20 at an action. đŸ™‚
I haven’t found the missing “c”, though I did find a missing “u” in the word “auction”. Are your referring to the reference to “Kain and Abel”? (If so, the person who posted is German, and that is correct in German. If not…I’ll continue to be perplexed!)
See, I told you I was illiterate! The ‘C’ was in exactly. Right at the beginning. đŸ˜‰
I missed it, but I located and inserted the missing “c”…or I wouldn’t have slept tonight! Ha! đŸ˜®
Well I hope you deleted the last line as well or people will think I’m REALLY losing it. đŸ˜€
Flipping back and forth through the comments, I can’t find anything incriminating or damning just yet. (But I found a misplaced “[“, which I deleted…!)
Ok, you are obsessive! đŸ™‚
Hear jast to big you. I”li right thiss wrone. đŸ˜€
I also have a quirky sense of humor, and think that is a hoot!
I knew you would. đŸ˜‰
đŸ˜‰
You should have named them Kain and Abel
Ha! Ha! Well, most of the time, they are very nice to each other, but this one spot seems to be one neither wants to share with the other. đŸ˜‰
Oh, brother…
Yes, what a bother!
