Caturday is here at last! Time to bring out the Neko toy and get that chubby little Dougy hopping!

Dougy tries to be interested in his Neko toy.

~ Patooey!! ~

“I guess I have to play….”

Geez, Dougy! where’s your sense of fun today?
“It’s Caturday. Caturday is for doing nothing much, and a lot of that!“
I guess Dougy knows better than me. I’ll put the Neko toy away now, but I guarantee he’ll come whining later, wanting me to stop everything and play.
Dougy would like to remind you that he has big bones and lots of fur, not fat.
Well…he does have a sturdier build than his brother, but there’s a bit of “heft” there, too! I intend to ask his veterinarian’s opinion about his weight next time. Andy seems a bit heavier now than a year ago, too. He is thinner built, so I’m less concerned about him putting on an ounce or two.
I hope you do not want Dougy work a Cat urday!! 🙂

You are very right about that, Michel! Even though American cats work longer hours and take shorter vacations than French cats, they also spend more time at work doing very little work! 🙂 (And, of course, they complain that French cats have it easy!)
I haven’t a choice of nothing it’s my body that’s doing the talking
It takes practice to be catlike, and, in many cases, it isn’t possible for reasons outside one’s control. I totally understand what you mean, Sheldon…!
He is taking it slow, he doesn’t want to over exercise 🙂
…or tire himself out before his nighttime romps…! 🙂
The only bad thing about doing nothing is that you do not know when you are finished.
That’s why Dougy got so tired…too much thinking for a little kitty cat!
It hit 97 degrees here yesterday, the prediction is for over 100 degrees today. Going to be a lazy one in Catville…
Ugh! It’s supposed to be pretty hot here today, too, though I don’t recall what the predicted high is.
If only I could nap all day lol
Yeah! Sounds like heaven!
Time for an all day nap on cater day for them, but the minute you join in, they will want to play.
Dougy in particular will hop on my and walk up and down my body till I pay attention to him…! Andy is more polite about things, and waits till I sit on the edge on my bed. Then he lightly scratches my leg with both front paws. I always have small scratches on my right leg from this!
