What could appeal more to a kitty boy than blinky lights!? (I’m happy to have them again, too, after the “no-Internet” hassles noted in Post 1858.)

OK, I decided the kitty boys can perch in front of the television, though sometimes they block the closed captions more than others.
They can block the TV when something awful comes on. 🙂
I wish they’d blocked the Senate hearings yesterday.
Agreed
Green is good…although the boys probably don’t care as they can’t tell the colour.

It’s the motion, so far as they show interest for a reason, eh!
Cats love to get right where the human wants to look at something, like a book, magazine or computer screen. 🙂
Absolutely! And, my “favorite” kitty behavior, weaving in and out of my legs while I’m walking, or trying to!
They’ve nearly toppled me a few times doing that!
When my parents were elderly and still at home, I thought they’d enjoy a kitty that showed up one day, then I thought better of it. (The kitty, unfortunately, was killed buy a pickup driver who was observed by one of my neighbors deliberately aiming for the kitty. One of the other neighbors is a veterinarian, but he wasn’t able to save the kitty. This cruel act is one other reason my two kitties never get to go outside except in a carrier when I take them to the veterinarian or groomer.)
I am sorry about the kitty that was killed. My cats never go out either.
It was so pointless and inhumane. I almost wish my neighbor hadn’t witnessed the deliberate running over of that kitty. It was sad enough that it was run over, let alone deliberately.
I bet you have one of those TV’s that puts out the heat & the boys like the warmth! If they had a shelf on top with a board to get up there,I bet they’d lay up there soaking in all the warmth!
There is that, though the past week was hot inside without turning on the air conditioner (29°C before I gave in and turned it on…!) Come winter, that will no doubt be the primary reason to perch there.
cats are heat vampires!
Interestingly, Andy and Dougy feel cool to the touch on the hottest of days, though their heads (less hair) feel warmish.
I know you don’t have this but if you had one of those heat detecting instruments I wonder how they would look?
They use them to detect heat escaping from a house.Thermography.
Me, too. One of those handheld thermometers used in hospitals – probably available to the general public – might give an answer.
doodz…glad stuff bak in werkin order for ewe all…N joy de front oh de tee and vee all ya want !!! 🙂 ♥♥♥
Believe it, they do!
When you said Blinky Lights I thought of the little Christmas peanut bulbs on light strings or what others call “fairy lights” Zeke likes to bite those. Hope no one is trying to bite your flashing LEDS! No internet can really shut your life down!
They barely look at them. Of course, they may go wildcat when I’m away!
aaaah the green light… they are like the light of hope in the darkness… and when they turn red, it is really a code red LOL
Mine are green this time. Regardless, I’ve made a point to observe what they should look like so the next time I can tell when the router is
starting to toast out….
