Andy wanted to check the kitchen cabinets.

“Ummmm…no mousies!”

“Maybe this cabinet!”

“Nope. No mousies.”

One of these days, Andy, there might be a “mousie”, but today wasn’t the day.

The kalanchoe in the window over the kitchen sink is a reliable winter bloomer. It’s my kind of plant: neglect it all year, water it when the leaves start dropping, and then it rewards me each winter with its lovely salmon-colored flowers!

Andy’s had his nap, his Greenies, a nice drink of water, and now…

…it’s kitty bath time!

Later, Andy enjoyed a lovely sparrow show in the climbing yellow rose bush outside the north bathroom window. Could a kitty boy ever have a better morning? Yes, after Doug opened the cabinet doors in the kitchen for the “mousies in the cabinet” game and “scritched” Andy up and down his back, Andy pretty much did all his favorite things!

“Catnip, Andy?”

Andy’s cup runneth over!

And has a nap before…

…taking his Greenies and loving breaks.

Greenies and loving breaks taken, it’s time to continue his nap!

Andy’s decided Monday is his day of rest…this week!

Something caught Andy’s attention.

“!!!”

“Can you believe it, Doug?” 

I have no idea what Andy found so fascinating.

Time for a nap, of course.

Then a little television till…

…Andy left the room to get a drink of water.

Andy returned for a little “scritching” and “wuvving”!

“That was nice, Doug! Now put some fresh Greenies out. I need a treat!”

Pretty much done.

Andy’s clean as a while!

Andy’s suspicious of me – with cause!

I’ve picked him up three times already and he hates that!

Yippee! Andy found a Greenie back there!!

Andy takes a chance. Surely no one will try to pick him up here!

Andy’s OK with face, head, and ear rubs, though.

It took over an hour to get this thing to pull up. I restarted the laptop, with some progress – I got one of those wait notices that suggested the laptop was updating. Or just being perverse. I decided to do a full scan, which sometimes needs to be done. That was two and a half hours ago, and it’s about 17% done. I guess I’ve never done the full scan with this program because I don’t recall it taking so long. I can work on WordPress what it scans, though, so I am happy about that.

Andy settles down for a nap.
