Andy is spooked for a while after I give him his medicine, so I wasn’t surprised to see him perched on the all-in-one machine when I set up cat videos for Dougy. Dougy lost interest and ran into the kitchen on cat business, but Andy, as always, enjoyed the birds and squirrels…from a distance!
I’m glad he has birdies and squirrelygigs to watch to help take his mind off of meds. I do that, too.
The kitty treats help, too!
He looks like he is trying to send you a fax: NO MORE MEDICINE, MAN!
But did the video calm him down eventually?
The videos tend to get him excited, but he generally is pretty calm – well, “resigned” – at medicine time. Any more, he associates the medicine time with treats afterwards, so hasn’t been too hard to catch. Of course, I make sure my bedroom door is closed so he doesn’t have a chance to hide under my bed.
Glad he at least enjoyed from a safe distance.
For sure!
Eyes look a bit glazed over to me. Don’t watch too much at once!
LOL! Yes, Andy would a=watch tv all day if it were available. Of course, from time to time, he takes a break for a bit of kitty pellets or a toilet break.
I have an indoor amplified TV antenna and moving it changes reception. Mine love to jump on it When I cannot watch it is always a wonky antenna to fix. I think they don’t like my selections!
LOL! Sounds like you don’t get to watch too many programs start to finish!
Keeps me from becoming a couch potato–all that up and down!
They are always cute but he looks extra adorable.
Andy says, “Mrow!”
Dougy ran into the kitchen? What’s he doing there?
Maybe to see if there were kitty treats out. (He doesn’t tell me his business! LOL!)
