A little video – Andy claims the kitty lounger (on left) and Dougy challenges him. Click on the picture for best playing results.
Act Two: The boxing match! If seems Dougy is on top for now.
Andy watches from the safety of the stacked carriers while Dougy scratches the lounger to announce it is his!
Yes, that is Dougy’s tail as he leaves the lounger. Did he win or not?
And that’s Andy, wary but in full possession of the kitty lounger! I guess Dougy had to make an effort to secure ownership of the kitty lounger, but now he’s napping under the chair in the bathroom, his usual “favorite” napping spot!
=(^+^)=
I get the question from time to time: Do the kitty boys get along? Sure! Except when they don’t. They are like any siblings.
Andy looks rather elegant napping on the lounger.
He would probably agree with you! (I do, too!)
Mr. Doug, Mom says, “Maybe you’ll have to create a sign up sheet so each kitty will have to make a reservation to use the lounger.”
LOL! There is a second kitty lounger in the room that rarely gets used. I bought it initially to stop this “mine” stuff.
They put on quite the show. 🙂
Whew! And how!
I guess Dougy had to establish ownership and “allow” his brother to sleep on the lounger. 🙂
Have a wonderful day, Doug, Dougy and Andy, from all of us here!
I’ve no idea what’s going on now, which cat “owns” it. The situation is fluid.
It suddenly occurred to me that my cats do not compete for things very much while yours always do. 🐈🐈🐈
You are lucky. This goes in cycles.
Feisty! Play nice, boys… 😻
I wish they would! While it rarely gets too rough, occasionally they have a kitty battle.
That’s brothers being brothers right? RAWR!!
Yeah, and it’s getting tedious of late.
You can’t do much can you Doug? Separating them seems like it wouldn’t go well.
It sometimes requires the kitty boys getting tired of it.
oh thanks for sharing!!! to watch cat tv is a good way to spend da day!
There’s such a thing on YouTube as dog television, too, you know…!
Except when they don’t. Hahahaha
It gets tedious when they get in one of these moods, though!
How funny.
It can escalate into a real fight, though, and that is when I get serious with them. I won’t tolerate the possibility of injuries and veterinarian bills!
