The doorbell here is a signal to run and hide. A surprise to reemerge and find a brand new box waiting for playtime! 😺
LOL! Your delivery persons, at least, use the doorbell. Mine just drop the boxes off and run. I discover most packages the next morning, I suspect the kitty boys would respond to the doorbell the same as your kitties.
Sometimes a doorbell rings on tv that sounds just like mine and they run. I get fooled sometimes if I am not watching and answer the door! 😺

Nope! One thing about it, one always knows what to get the kitties for a gift!
