Andy entertains himself at the north bathroom window.

He waits for the sparrows to fly to roost on the climbing yellow rosebush.

It keeps him amused for hours!

He never tires of this activity.

All great photos, but the first one is the best.
Thanks!
My pleasure, Doug.
I have a bathroom birder too!
It’s nice they entertain themselves this way!
I wonder exactly what he is thinking about… So cute! 🥰
“I can catch that one…” The screen shows previous efforts that failed.
Andy looks very intent watching those birds! Silkie spent a good while birdwatching yesterday.
It seems to help indoor kitties have something like a normal kitty life!
We have a Cooper’s Hawk who shows up now and then, perched near the feeder. All the birds scatter until he moves on.
I have little doubt. That’s one serious bird and a handsome raptor!

The hawk has been around a couple of years now. Sometimes I find a pile of feathers, sometimes he flies off with empty talons.
Walking under trees where owls nest is an interesting thing to do, too. If you find an owl pellet – regurgitated bones and feathers, you can establish what that particular owl is feeding on and feeding its babies.
He sure looks entertained. I think he’s imagining himself chasing them.
You know it, T.W.! The screen will have to be replaced in the future since it has lots of evidence Andy tried to catch birds through it. Fortunately, it is a small cost.
That happens. We once had a big dog that went through the screen door to chase something.
Wow! Andy is about 4,5 kilos, so he just shreds the screen climbing it to get the birds.
Fine entertainment
Andy loves it!
Wow, such cuteness and what beautiful illumination, especially in the second photo! Windows are popular spots with our kitties, too.
It is pretty, isn’t it!
Aw, his profile is so cute! He’s like a little baby teddy bear!
He got a teddy bear cut from the groomer!
sparrow tv is a goodthing… no news what bring anger, no wrong lottery numbers, no boring talk shows, no fees … just sparrows… better than netflix…
Andy approves!
It must be instinctive?
It’s that exactly! Watching him at the window, you see classic hunting postures and behavior, not to ignore the lunge to catch a bird that seems catchable. The screen looks like it, too.
