It looked promising. Both Andy and Dougy were positioned to play with me.
What!? What!? What!? Where did the kitty boys go!?
Andy decided to nap on the carrier, and Dougy positioned himself to play. It looked promising, but Dougy got bored with the game and decided he’d have a nap, too.
Some days we just don’t connect!
Sometimes the call of the nap is stronger than the call of the toy. 🙂
Amazingly so.
Don’t worry, Mr. Doug, they still love you. I haven’t been in much of a playing mood lately, ’cause of my allergies or maybe Mom and I are having connection issues, too. Hugs!
Thanks, Valentine! I think our problem is we are screwed up on our sleeping schedules. Both kitty boys are napping now, but the three of us have been having a heck of a time coordinating our awake times.
Who is “we” in this context? Both of them connected with each other perfectly by declaring nap time. Whether you connect with THEM, that’s your problem!
We would be the three of us.
That means they expect the third part of “we,” which is “you,” to take a nap whenever “they” feel like it!
Unfortunately, they often are on different schedules…! Dougy’s just woke up and Andy just went to sleep. Nope – both are sleeping now. Whew!
Time for you to take a nap!
After lunch I will!
Have a good rest!
Thanks! I did!
They know it is a holiday.
Yeah, they kind of missed the point of it: service to others became, “serve the kitties”!
I have never followed any of the advice on how to make a cat “like” the cat carrier. No cat here would ever sleep on one. In fact, here is a tip: put the carrier where you don’t want a caat to go–or even a cat as well! Seems to work for me.
Both Andy and Dougy will sleep in the stacked carriers I’ve always stored next to the recliner. They are part of the cat highway through that part of the room as well. One time when I couldn’t find Dougy to take him to an appointment, I located him in the bottom carrier! Off he went to the appointment, self trapped!
haha. This is familiar. How about the look they give you like, “I don’t have a clue what you want to do with that string but I can tell ya…..” Shoko gives me that look which means FORGET ABOUT IT!
jEAN
Never a boring day trying to keep up with their whims!
Every day is not the some. It’s so for people and animals
That is a fact! Andy is a sweet-natured kitty, for example, but he can be moody. Dougy is a whiny cat when he wants something you don’t give him!
it#s probably because it is moanday… we all have to deal with our weekend hangover ;O)))
That’s a good guess!
