The kitty boys want you to know they actually can be in the same room at the same time and be civil toward each other!

Dougy looks like a player today!
I thought it was Dougy’s time to play, but he decides not to chase the Birbug.
Andy sees me teasing Dougy with the Birbug. He not only is willing to play, he insists on it!
That Andy! He’s an animal!
After Birbug play in the end table, Andy shifts over to the floor where he hunts mousies in the newspaper folds till he’s played out.
Minding his business, Andy practices proper protocol in these times of the plague…

…when Dougy shows up!

Well, maybe this time it’s OK. Dougy’s behaving today. Andy relaxes. Then…

…Doug (the human) sneezes a big one, scaring Dougy, who hops onto the recliner. Boy, was that scary! Ask Dougy.
Andy couldn’t care less! Or is it “care more”? Who cares? Not Andrew James Thomas, who returns to important kitty business. “What’s on television?”
Happy Caturday!
Dougy likes to hop on my lap and knead my chest. Unfortunately, he oftentimes does it when I’m writing a letter or updating this blog. He’s tenacious, though, whining and putting his paws up on the armrest of my chair or…
…hopping up on the end table – where’s Andy? – and being a pest till I give in, put my laptop away, and submit to the “making bisquits” treatment.
Dougy and Andy have behaved for several days now. Thank you Birbug wand toy!
We try to establish healthy routines, too, and wash up frequently…
…but, in these “Plague Days”, we all are watching too much television,.
“Hey, Andy! I can’t see through you!”
=(^+^)=
WordPress has an annoying way of tossing legitimate comments into the spam or trash folders. I apologize – for WordPress, how magnanimous of me! – if you are one of the victims of this business. I really enjoy comments from all of you and it is the “pay” I get for posting daily or mostly daily since I occasionally miss a day.
Andy tries his best to get Dougy to play. He even puts his front paws on Dougy’s ottoman…while Dougy is on it!
Dougy just ignores his brother! Andy is incredulous, then tries to forget about it by watching the television. Maybe there are giant mosquitos or string monsters on it. He wants to play!
Boy! Dougy is terribly uncooperative today. Andy really, really, really wishes he could get Dougy’s attention and maybe have a good chase through the apartment!

Dougy just isn’t playing today. Well, there’s always a kitty bath…

…or television.
There are things I am grateful for. Being able to vote from home, sparing me exposure to infection and the medical caregivers I owe my life to. Two biggies, I’ll say!

Pickles and Hillary, Chris and Pam’s kitties. Chris and Pam are stand up people who’ve been helpful to me when I was hospitalized and when I am not. They are friends I am blessed to have. Everyone needs a Chris and a Pam!
My kitty boys – this is Andy – help keep me centered as well. They aren’t worried about much. Be like the cat: find little things you can control to worry about, and forget the rest.
You may not know I oftentimes am several days ahead on my posts if the kitty boys “give” me adequate activities to photograph. Such is the case today. This is from several days ago when the kitty boys were acting up and fighting. First clue: How do I know? The loose fur on Andy’s side. Dougy really nailed him, but there was no wound, just pulled out hair.
Second clue: Andy getting as high and far from Dougy as possible and Dougy getting ready to pounce Andy if comes by! They are behaving now, but I had to wear them down with Birbug wand toy play and physically stopping them from a fight.

Andy doesn’t like me futzing on my laptop. There’s a kitty in need of excitement!

Hint! Hint! OK Andy. You asked for it. I send a kitty game over to the smart television.
Woo hoo! Goldfish! Slow swimming, just what Andy likes best.
It gets rougher by the minute. Andy’s having a good day.
All good things come to an end…
Well done, Andrew! Well done!
