I’d love to toss some of the boxes around the house, but Dougy (in particular) seems to anticipate the ones I have in mind.
I wanted to toss this laptop box because I haven’t seen Dougy show interest in it in a few weeks. Moreover, when I’ve opened it up to entice him, he’s run away in horror! (Not his idea? Ghosts? Who knows!?)

What’s this lurking in the darkness of the box?!

Could it be…?!

“Dougy! What are you doing in the box!?”
Hey, I brought out the DaBird wand toy, and Dougy and I played a favorite pounce game.

Andy made use of the playtime between the two Dougs to fluff his tail and clean his fur.
Looking hot, Andy! Or should I say “Fluffytail”?
But Dad. You can’t get rid of that box. It’s my favorite!!
…and I better believe it!
Reblogged this on ' Ace Friends News ' and commented:
They just love boxes – l actually built a castle for my cat once that she lived in rather than bother with the really expensive cat bed l bought – nice post Ian 🐱
I completely understand the situation!
😹 Smart Dougy!
It is uncanny how it works….!
Yes – I’ll bet!😸
That seems like much more advanced “Intel inside” than my last PC 😉
It’s uncanny!
Hehe 🙂
Way to fool your dad. Play in a box you have shown no interest in for ages. Great going. Freak this guy out!

None of this cat conspiratorial posting stuff, now! I can read!
I liked your comment about the Requiem of Cherubini.
It is a beautiful piece, and I’m sure people attending a Requiem Mass would feel comforted by it.
Dougy always looks a bit shy but this does not bother him to find the good places.
Andy looks rather like a kings on his throne .
In friendship

That’s probably because he hates to be photographed (because of the flash), but Andy is a sport about it. I try to get more lights on when I plan on photographing Dougy so the flash goes off less often. It’s the only way I get photos of him with his pretty eyes open!
Morning my friend…..I know you love your friends…but I saw a story that I have to pass onto you….it is a creepy study and I think it is not very accurate but in case you would like to check it out…

I got a chuckle out of it….chuq
I believe that is true! I see how they look at me…! Ick! Anyway, there was a link to proper cat petting, too, that was interesting as well. “It further points to a 2002 study that echoes that caudal finding and says that petting in the temporal region (between the eyes and ears) was most preferable.” I know that is a fact because both Any and Dougy love it when I rub between their eyes! The usual response: Head tilted back into the rubbing finger, followed by closed eyes and drooling! LOL!
My two dogs enjoy the same rub but without the drooling…LOL
Too bad. The drooling is what makes it fun for me! (Well, seeing a cat lose all dignity does it for me. LOL!)
LOL
