Post 2059: Upside down or rightside up..?

There is a curious phenomenon…

…where the kitty boys look rightside up when they are upside down.

Or is it the other way around?

Andy stopped by to block the television and wash up…

…but he saw something that changed his plan.

He enjoys the warmth of the sun!

Beats television blocking, as fun as that is!

Post 2057: Dougy has a snit…

Something’s bugging Dougy.

Good grief, Douglas! Andy’s not bothering you there.

I guess Dougy can’t handle Andy sleeping on top of the stacked carriers for the moment because he ran off.

Andy is totally unaware of the drama. Dougy’s portrait hangs heavily above him!

Post 2056: recliner sports…

Dougy likes to relax in the recliner, of course, but…

…recliner sports is even better! And the chosen game is “Kill the Mockingbird”. Boring to you and me, yes? Not to Dougy!

Boy, did the ‘bird zip past Dougy at 100 mph!

Things went a bit better this time.

“I am kitty, hear me RAWR!” Dougy does an amazing sideways snare!

Yes! Dougy has his kitty on today!

Once again!

This can go on for a long time. Dougy stops when it’s time for a kitty nap time or kitty food time or kitty wash up time, but he’s always ready to get back into “Kill the Mockingbird”, his current favorite kitty sport!

Post 2055: in yer face…

Dougy (front) and Andy recently had a discussion about which kitty boy gets to have the top of the stacked carriers. Andy, of course, has chosen that spot for some time, and Dougy eventually agreed Andy should continue to have it. (Then he took his spot on the recliner seat…!)

Post 2054: hanging out…

Not a surprise, Dougy’s sleeping on his ottoman.

You might say he’s hanging out!

Post 2053: whiskers…

No story today. I just thought it was cool how the light highlighted Dougy’s whiskers!

Post 2052: Dougy scores on the mockingbird!

He catches it from his box cavern, then brings it out to “eat” in the open. I guess he wants me to see what he’s doing so I’ll say “Good kitty!”

Andy shows up in the shadows, so play is over from the box cavern…

…but not from the piled up pillows and comforters in front of the recliner! (I was keeping warm without having to turn up the heat, which I’d turned down during the brief warm spell in the weather.) RAWR!

Yes, this is the best spot of all for Dougy to use his ambush style of hunting. By now you know that results in the shocking KILL! KILL! KILL! (Dougy is much more than a cute furball afterall!)

Post 2051: blizzard…

My neighbor figured out why I back into my parking spot when snow (especially a blizzard) is predicted.

Yeah, the drift forms on the passenger side of the car. Of course, I still have a drift on the driver’s side, but it’s much smaller than the one on the passenger’s side. This was taken around 1:30 AM the 11th of April. Same time the last blizzard, I had a drift on the passenger side as tall as my car!
