Yes, Dougy stars again. Andy’s been sleepy and resting, sleeping, or just observing from the sidelines when I have the smart phone out to take photos.
Like this time, when Dougy brought me the mouse tail part of the Cat’s Meow toy neither particularly likes to play with. Dougy’s very excited, though, about the tail! And I’m impressed that he brings it to me.
With a little work, I’ll have him to fully retrieve it and bring it back to me. He’s getting close!
=(^+^)=

Woo hoo! Dougy’s ready for Freddie, as we used to say in my family!

Andy’s watching, but he knows Dougy is a toy piggy, and won’t share.

Pretty exciting now, but Dougy wants something more…!

Andy wants to play. Dougy, of course, continues to hog the toy. He notices, Andy, though, so takes the recliner. Score two for Dougy! Andy looks like he wants to watch, now, from the recliner!
Yep, Dougy the toy piggy!

Andy will find something else to do. A nice kitty treat sounds good, so he prepares to go over to the kitty food area for a little cheer!
When I was growing up, our neighbors had a cat that would fetch if you threw him a superball. That would be fun to train Dougy to retrieve.
He’s training himself. This morning, he was in the bathroom batting that Cat’s Meow mouse tail thing around. It’s become a favorite toy of his.
The interactions between your two companions is funny , Doug.
And you are a fine observer
In friendship
Michel
Thank you, Michel! They are typical brothers, fighting and playing together, and they are a joy to wake up to each day!
Are you sure he is a cat? I mean a lot of humans are just like that.
I use the general reference points: sharp, pointy toenails and teeth, cattitude, and soothing purr….! Yep! A cat.
Yes, you definitely make a point.
I wish a happy new year’s eve to you and your cute kittens. Enjoy with good food good friends good wine and champaign and of course catwine and catpaign for the cats
LOL! I suspect the three of us will fall asleep well before 12 o’clock, then get up at 1:30 for some yummy kitty food for them, and something fort breakfast for me. We keep weird hours
cat hours 😉 the best hours 🙂
We managed to follow cat hours, of course, and missed 12 AM.
I read that as Dougy had changed into a toy piggy. I’m relieved to know I was very wrong.
Happy New Year to you 3 boys.
LOL! I’m pleased that wasn’t exactly what happened!
Andy is a sweet boy.
That he is. He is a gentle spirit.
Yeah, Raena’s a bit of a toy hog too. We luvved da Cat’s Meow. But Raena broke it. 🙁 Dat girl can break anythin’/ MOL Big hugs to ya’ll.
Luv ya’
Dezi and Raena
I’m not sure which one broke off the “mouse” from the Cat’s Meow, but Dougy is a prime suspect.
Well, we watched Raena shred da cover off ours tryin’ to find da mouse, so we know ‘zactly who did it. MOL
Luv ya’
Dezi and Raena
Andy used to charge it, and knock it over. The both learned early on that the easiest way to play with it was to stretch out beside it and let the “mouse tail” Come to them! Not much fun in that! Dougy has the right idea about the “mouse tail”, though. Aside from bringing it to me to play with him, he likes to take it into the bathroom where the hard floor lets him bat it around like a soccer/football ball, then chase it.
doodz….we have a few toy hogz heer two !! wanted ta wish ewe both; & dad two, a happee healthee 2017 ~~~~ see ya ….next yeer !!! 🙂 ♥
Dougy usually plays till he gets bored with a toy, then Andy’s allowed to play. I try to include Andy when I see him sitting out play on the sidelines. Sometimes, both will play with the same toy at the same time, though Andy generally starts later in the game.
What fun!
Dougy agrees!
what wonderful photos of this handsome boy. 2016 9s certainly leaving with a slap in the face.
